藉着他，神使萬有與自己和好，無論是地上的、天上的，都藉着他在十字架上所流的血促成了和平。從前你們與神隔絕，心思上與他為敵，行為邪惡；

所以，他凡事應當與他的弟兄相同，為要在神的事上成為慈悲忠信的大祭司，為百姓的罪獻上贖罪祭。

從以色列水源豐沛的草場上，每二百隻羊中要獻一隻羔羊。這都可作素祭、燔祭、平安祭，來為民贖罪。這是主耶和華說的。

一切都是出於神；他藉着基督使我們與他和好，又將勸人與他和好的使命賜給我們。這就是：神在基督裏使世人與自己和好，不將他們的過犯歸到他們身上，並且將這和好的信息託付了我們。所以，我們作基督的特使，就好像神藉我們勸你們一般。我們替基督求你們，與神和好吧！神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好使我們在他裏面成為神的義。

因為我們作仇敵的時候，尚且藉着神兒子的死得以與神和好，既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。不但如此，我們既藉着我們的主耶穌基督得以與神和好，也就藉着他以神為樂。

祭司要把燔祭和素祭獻在壇上，祭司要為他贖罪，他就潔淨了。

「以色列全會眾若犯了錯，在任何事上犯了一條耶和華所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，會眾看不出這隱藏的事；他們一知道犯了罪，就要獻一頭公牛犢為贖罪祭，牽牠到會幕前。會眾的長老要在耶和華面前按手在公牛的頭上，把牛宰於耶和華面前。受膏的祭司要取些公牛的血，帶到會幕那裏。祭司要用手指蘸一些血，在耶和華面前對着幔子彈七次，又要把一些血抹在會幕內，耶和華面前壇的四個翹角上，再把其餘的血全倒在會幕門口燔祭壇的底座上。他要取出公牛所有的脂肪，燒在壇上。他要處理這牛，正如處理那頭贖罪祭的公牛一樣，他要如此去做。祭司要為他們贖罪，他們就蒙赦免。他要把牛搬到營外燒了，像燒前一頭公牛一樣；這是會眾的贖罪祭。「官長若犯罪，在任何事上無意中犯了一條耶和華－他的神所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，他一知道自己犯了罪，就要牽一隻沒有殘疾的公山羊為供物。他要按手在羊的頭上，在耶和華面前宰燔祭牲的地方把牠宰了；這是贖罪祭。祭司要用手指蘸一些贖罪祭牲的血，抹在燔祭壇的四個翹角上，再把其餘的血倒在燔祭壇的底座上。祭牲所有的脂肪都要燒在壇上，正如平安祭的脂肪一樣。祭司要為他的罪贖了他，他就蒙赦免。「這地的百姓若有人無意中犯罪，在任何事上犯了一條耶和華所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，他一知道自己犯了罪，就要為所犯的罪牽一隻沒有殘疾的母山羊為供物。他要按手在贖罪祭牲的頭上，在燔祭牲的地方把牠宰了。祭司要用手指蘸一些祭牲的血，抹在燔祭壇的四個翹角上，再把其餘的血全倒在壇的底座上；又要把祭牲所有的脂肪都取下，正如取平安祭牲的脂肪一樣。祭司要把脂肪燒在壇上，在耶和華面前作為馨香的祭。祭司要為他贖罪，他就蒙赦免。「人若牽一隻綿羊為贖罪祭作供物，就要牽一隻沒有殘疾的母羊。他要按手在贖罪祭牲的頭上，在宰燔祭牲的地方宰了牠，作為贖罪祭。祭司要用手指蘸一些贖罪祭牲的血，抹在燔祭壇的四個翹角上，再把其餘的血全倒在壇的底座上；又要把祭牲所有的脂肪都取下，正如取平安祭的羊的脂肪一樣。祭司要按獻給耶和華火祭的條例，把脂肪燒在壇上。祭司要為他所犯的罪贖了他，他就蒙赦免。」
