就宰了公羊。摩西把血灑在祭壇的周圍，

他領了亞倫的兒子來，把一些血抹在他們的右耳垂上，右手的大拇指上和右腳的大腳趾上。摩西把其餘的血灑在壇的周圍。

他要在耶和華面前宰公牛犢；亞倫子孫作祭司的要獻上血，把血灑在會幕門口壇的周圍。

他又照樣把血灑在帳幕和敬拜用的各樣器皿上。按着律法，幾乎每樣東西都是用血潔淨的；沒有流血，就沒有赦罪。

他把贖罪祭的公牛牽來，亞倫和他兒子按手在贖罪祭公牛的頭上，就宰了公牛。摩西取了血，用指頭抹在祭壇周圍的四個翹角上，使壇潔淨，再把其餘的血倒在壇的底座上，使壇成為聖，為壇贖罪。

又要把一些血抹在會幕內，耶和華面前香壇的四個翹角上，再把公牛其餘的血全倒在會幕門口燔祭壇的底座上；

祭司要用手指蘸一些贖罪祭牲的血，抹在燔祭壇的四個翹角上，再把其餘的血全倒在壇的底座上；
