或是受膏的祭司犯罪，使百姓陷在罪裏，就當為他所犯的罪把沒有殘疾的公牛犢獻給耶和華為贖罪祭。他要牽公牛到會幕門口，在耶和華面前按手在牛的頭上，把牛宰於耶和華面前。受膏的祭司要取些公牛的血帶到會幕，把指頭蘸於血中，在耶和華面前對着聖所的幔子彈血七次，又要把些血抹在會幕內、耶和華面前香壇的四角上，再把公牛所有的血倒在會幕門口、燔祭壇的腳那裏。要把贖罪祭公牛所有的脂油，乃是蓋臟的脂油和臟上所有的脂油，並兩個腰子和腰子上的脂油，就是靠腰兩旁的脂油，與肝上的網子和腰子，一概取下，與平安祭公牛上所取的一樣；祭司要把這些燒在燔祭的壇上。公牛的皮和所有的肉，並頭、腿、臟、腑、糞，就是全公牛，要搬到營外潔淨之地、倒灰之所，用火燒在柴上。「以色列全會眾若行了耶和華所吩咐不可行的甚麼事，誤犯了罪，是隱而未現、會眾看不出來的，會眾一知道所犯的罪就要獻一隻公牛犢為贖罪祭，牽到會幕前。

現在你們要取七隻公牛，七隻公羊，到我僕人約伯那裏去，為自己獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就為你們祈禱。我因悅納他，就不按你們的愚妄辦你們。你們議論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的是。」

巴蘭對巴勒說：「你在這裏為我築七座壇，又在這裏為我預備七隻公牛，七隻公羊。」

神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好叫我們在他裏面成為神的義。

巴蘭對巴勒說：「你在這裏給我築七座壇，為我預備七隻公牛，七隻公羊。」

「你們有錯誤的時候，不守耶和華所曉諭摩西的這一切命令，就是耶和華藉摩西一切所吩咐你們的，自那日以至你們的世世代代，若有誤行，是會眾所不知道的，後來全會眾就要將一隻公牛犢作燔祭，並照典章把素祭和奠祭一同獻給耶和華為馨香之祭，又獻一隻公山羊作贖罪祭。

神賜恩與擡耶和華約櫃的利未人，他們就獻上七隻公牛，七隻公羊。

從擄到之地歸回的人向以色列的神獻燔祭，就是為以色列眾人獻公牛十二隻，公綿羊九十六隻，綿羊羔七十七隻，又獻公山羊十二隻作贖罪祭，這都是向耶和華焚獻的。

於是領巴蘭到了瑣腓田，上了毗斯迦山頂，築了七座壇；每座壇上獻一隻公牛，一隻公羊。

這節的七日，每日他要為耶和華預備無殘疾的公牛七隻、公綿羊七隻為燔祭。每日又要預備公山羊一隻為贖罪祭。
