或是受膏的祭司犯罪，使百姓陷在罪里，就当为他所犯的罪把没有残疾的公牛犊献给耶和华为赎罪祭。他要牵公牛到会幕门口，在耶和华面前按手在牛的头上，把牛宰于耶和华面前。受膏的祭司要取些公牛的血带到会幕，把指头蘸于血中，在耶和华面前对着圣所的幔子弹血七次，又要把些血抹在会幕内、耶和华面前香坛的四角上，再把公牛所有的血倒在会幕门口、燔祭坛的脚那里。要把赎罪祭公牛所有的脂油，乃是盖脏的脂油和脏上所有的脂油，并两个腰子和腰子上的脂油，就是靠腰两旁的脂油，与肝上的网子和腰子，一概取下，与平安祭公牛上所取的一样；祭司要把这些烧在燔祭的坛上。公牛的皮和所有的肉，并头、腿、脏、腑、粪，就是全公牛，要搬到营外洁净之地、倒灰之所，用火烧在柴上。“以色列全会众若行了耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事，误犯了罪，是隐而未现、会众看不出来的，会众一知道所犯的罪就要献一只公牛犊为赎罪祭，牵到会幕前。

现在你们要取七只公牛，七只公羊，到我仆人约伯那里去，为自己献上燔祭，我的仆人约伯就为你们祈祷。我因悦纳他，就不按你们的愚妄办你们。你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的是。”

巴兰对巴勒说：“你在这里为我筑七座坛，又在这里为我预备七只公牛，七只公羊。”

神使那无罪的，替我们成为罪，好叫我们在他里面成为神的义。

巴兰对巴勒说：“你在这里给我筑七座坛，为我预备七只公牛，七只公羊。”

“你们有错误的时候，不守耶和华所晓谕摩西的这一切命令，就是耶和华藉摩西一切所吩咐你们的，自那日以至你们的世世代代，若有误行，是会众所不知道的，后来全会众就要将一只公牛犊作燔祭，并照典章把素祭和奠祭一同献给耶和华为馨香之祭，又献一只公山羊作赎罪祭。

神赐恩与抬耶和华约柜的利未人，他们就献上七只公牛，七只公羊。

从掳到之地归回的人向以色列的神献燔祭，就是为以色列众人献公牛十二只，公绵羊九十六只，绵羊羔七十七只，又献公山羊十二只作赎罪祭，这都是向耶和华焚献的。

于是领巴兰到了琐腓田，上了毗斯迦山顶，筑了七座坛；每座坛上献一只公牛，一只公羊。

这节的七日，每日他要为耶和华预备无残疾的公牛七只、公绵羊七只为燔祭。每日又要预备公山羊一只为赎罪祭。
