The priests went into the sanctuary of the Lord to purify it. They brought out to the courtyard of the Lord’s temple everything unclean that they found in the temple of the Lord. The Levites took it and carried it out to the Kidron Valley.

耶稣说了这些话，就同门徒出去，过了汲沦溪。在那里有一个园子，他和门徒进去了。

祭司将耶和华的约柜请进内殿，就是至圣所，安置在两个基路伯的翅膀底下约柜自己的地方。

他在殿的中间预备内殿，在那里安放耶和华的约柜。内殿长二十肘，宽二十肘，高二十肘，都贴上纯金。他又用香柏木做坛。

众百姓过去时，当地的人全都放声大哭。王过了汲沦溪，众百姓就往旷野的路上去了。

耶稣进了圣殿，赶出圣殿里所有在做买卖的人，推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子和卖鸽子之人的凳子，对他们说：“经上记着：‘我的殿要称为祷告的殿，你们倒使它成为贼窝了。’”

我要救你们脱离一切的污秽，也要令五谷丰登，使你们不再遭遇饥荒。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们好像粉饰了的坟墓，外面好看，里面却满了死人的骨头和一切的污秽。

这样，照着天上样式做的物件必须用这些礼仪去洁净，但那天上的一切，自然当用更美的祭物去洁净。因为基督并没有进了人手所造的圣所—这不过是真圣所的影像—而是进到天上，如今为我们出现在神面前。

因为那预备好了的帐幕，第一层叫圣所，里面有灯台、供桌和供饼。第二层幔子后又有一层帐幕，叫至圣所，有金香坛和四周包金的约柜，柜里有盛吗哪的金罐、亚伦那根发过芽的杖和两块约版；柜上面有荣耀的基路伯罩着施恩座。有关这一切我现在不能一一细说。这些物件既如此预备齐了，众祭司就不断地进第一层帐幕行拜神的礼。至于第二层帐幕，惟有大祭司一年一次独自进去，没有一次不带着血，为自己献上，也为百姓无意所犯的过错献上。圣灵藉此指明，第一层帐幕仍存在的时候，进入至圣所的路还没有显示。

他建造至圣所，长二十肘，与殿的宽度一样，宽二十肘，都贴上纯金，共用了六百他连得金子。

王吩咐希勒家大祭司和副祭司，以及把守殿门的，把那些为巴力和亚舍拉，以及天上万象所造的器皿，都从耶和华殿里搬出来，在耶路撒冷外汲沦的田间烧了，把灰拿到伯特利去。从前犹大列王所立拜偶像的祭司，在犹大城镇的丘坛和耶路撒冷周围烧香，现在王都废去，他们是向巴力和日、月、行星，以及天上万象烧香的人。他把亚舍拉从耶和华殿里搬到耶路撒冷外的汲沦溪，在汲沦溪边焚烧，打碎成灰，把灰撒在平民的坟上。
