The priests went into the sanctuary of the Lord to purify it. They brought out to the courtyard of the Lord’s temple everything unclean that they found in the temple of the Lord. The Levites took it and carried it out to the Kidron Valley.

The priests went into the Lord’ s temple to make it pure. They brought out to the temple courtyard everything that was“ unclean.” They had found“ unclean” things in the Lord’ s temple. The Levites took them and carried them out to the Kidron Valley.

The priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord to cleanse it, and they brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the Lord into the court of the house of the Lord. And the Levites took it and carried it out to the brook Kidron.

So the priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord to cleanse it, and they brought every unclean thing which they found in the temple of the Lord out to the courtyard of the house of the Lord. Then the Levites received it to carry out to the Kidron Valley.

And the priests went in unto the inner part of the house of Jehovah, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of Jehovah into the court of the house of Jehovah. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad to the brook Kidron.

援爾脫於諸污、使五穀豐登、不加爾饑饉、

禍哉、爾偽善之士子與法利賽人乎、爾似粉堊之塋、外見為美、內則死骸諸穢充之矣、

夫在天諸物之像、須以此而潔、但在天之物、當用愈善之祭潔之、蓋基督非人手造之聖所、似真聖所之形狀者、乃入於天、今於上帝前為我儕而顯焉、

蓋設有一幕、其前者稱聖所、內有燈几與案、及陳設之餅、二幔之後、其幕稱至聖所、有焚香之金鼎、與徧包以金之約匱、內有貯瑪那之金樽、亞倫萌芽之杖、與約版二、匱上有榮華之基路伯、覆翼贖罪所、此數者姑弗詳言、凡此既備、諸祭司恆入前幕行崇奉之事、其內幕惟大祭司歲一入之、無不以血為己及民之愆而獻焉、聖神明示前幕尚存時、聖所之路猶未顯也、

又造至聖所、長二十肘、與室之寬相等、其寬亦二十肘、蓋以精金、用金六百他連得、

王命大祭司希勒家、與諸副祭司、及閽人、由耶和華殿、取出為巴力亞舍拉暨天象、所製之器皿、焚於耶路撒冷外、汲淪田間、攜其灰至伯特利、昔猶大列王所立奉偶像之祭司、使於猶大諸邑之崇邱、暨耶路撒冷四周焚香者、王悉廢之、又廢焚香於巴力、與日月行星、及諸天象者、亦出亞舍拉像於耶和華室、攜至耶路撒冷外、焚於汲淪溪濱、搗之成粉、揚於平民之墓、
