The priests went into the sanctuary of the Lord to purify it. They brought out to the courtyard of the Lord’s temple everything unclean that they found in the temple of the Lord. The Levites took it and carried it out to the Kidron Valley.

The priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord to cleanse it, and they brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the Lord into the court of the house of the Lord. And the Levites took it and carried it out to the brook Kidron.

亚撒王贬了他祖母玛迦太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像亚舍拉。亚撒砍下她的偶像，捣得粉碎，烧在汲沦溪边。

要使幔子垂在钩子下，把法柜抬进幔子内；这幔子要将圣所和至圣所隔开。又要把施恩座安在至圣所内的法柜上，

耶稣说了这话，就同门徒出去，过了汲沦溪。在那里有一个园子，他和门徒进去了。

祭司将耶和华的约柜抬进内殿，就是至圣所，放在两个基路伯的翅膀底下。

殿里预备了内殿，好安放耶和华的约柜。内殿长二十肘，宽二十肘，高二十肘，墙面都贴上精金；又用香柏木做坛，包上精金。

本地的人都放声大哭。众民尽都过去，王也过了汲沦溪；众民往旷野去了。

耶稣进了神的殿，赶出殿里一切做买卖的人，推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子，和卖鸽子之人的凳子，对他们说：“经上记着说：‘我的殿必称为祷告的殿，你们倒使它成为贼窝了。’”

我必救你们脱离一切的污秽，也必命五谷丰登，不使你们遭遇饥荒。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们好像粉饰的坟墓，外面好看，里面却装满了死人的骨头和一切的污秽。

照着天上样式做的物件必须用这些祭物去洁净；但那天上的本物自然当用更美的祭物去洁净。因为基督并不是进了人手所造的圣所（这不过是真圣所的影像），乃是进了天堂，如今为我们显在神面前；

因为有预备的帐幕，头一层叫作圣所，里面有灯台、桌子，和陈设饼。第二幔子后又有一层帐幕，叫作至圣所，有金香炉，有包金的约柜，柜里有盛吗哪的金罐和亚伦发过芽的杖，并两块约版；柜上面有荣耀基路伯的影罩着施恩座。这几件我现在不能一一细说。这些物件既如此预备齐了，众祭司就常进头一层帐幕，行拜神的礼。至于第二层帐幕，惟有大祭司一年一次独自进去，没有不带着血为自己和百姓的过错献上。圣灵用此指明，头一层帐幕仍存的时候，进入至圣所的路还未显明。

又建造至圣所，长二十肘，与殿的宽窄一样，宽也是二十肘；贴上精金，共用金子六百他连得。

王吩咐大祭司希勒家和副祭司，并把门的，将那为巴力和亚舍拉，并天上万象所造的器皿，都从耶和华殿里搬出来，在耶路撒冷外汲沦溪旁的田间烧了，把灰拿到伯特利去。从前犹大列王所立拜偶像的祭司，在犹大城邑的邱坛和耶路撒冷的周围烧香，现在王都废去，又废去向巴力和日、月、行星，并天上万象烧香的人；又从耶和华殿里将亚舍拉搬到耶路撒冷外汲沦溪边焚烧，打碎成灰，将灰撒在平民的坟上；
