不要自欺，神是不可輕慢的。人種的是甚麼，收的也是甚麼：順著自己的肉體撒種的，必定從肉體收取敗壞；順著聖靈撒種的，必定從聖靈收取永生。

那時，耶和華把利未支派分別出來，叫他們抬耶和華的約櫃，侍立在耶和華面前事奉他，並且奉他的名祝福，直到今日。

“你要叫利未支派近前來，使他們站在亞倫祭司面前，可以服事他。他們要替亞倫和全體會眾，在會幕前盡上本分，辦理帳幕的事。他們又要看守管理會幕裡的一切器具，也要替以色列人盡上本分，辦理帳幕的事。你要把利未人派給亞倫和他的兒子，因為他們是從以色列人中選出來完全給他的。

你要帶著你的親族利未支派的人，就是你祖宗支派的人，與你一同前來，使他們與你聯合，並且服事你；只是你和你的兒子要與你一同在約櫃的會幕前供職。他們要守你所吩咐的，和會幕裡的一切事，只是不可走近聖所的器具和祭壇，免得他們和你們都死亡。他們要與你聯合，也要守會幕的本分，辦理會幕的一切事務；只是外人不可走近你們。你們要看守聖所和祭壇，免得震怒再臨到以色列人。我已經把你們的親族利未人，從以色列人中揀選出來，給你們作禮物獻與耶和華，為要辦理會幕的事。你和你的兒子，要與你一同守你們祭司的職分，辦理一切屬祭壇和幔子內的事；你們要這樣供職。我把祭司的職分賜給你們作服事我的賞賜；外人若是近前來，必被處死。”

又有火從耶和華那裡出來，把那獻香的二百五十個人吞滅了。耶和華對摩西說：“你要吩咐亞倫祭司的兒子以利亞撒，叫他把那些香爐從火中拾起來，把火撒在別處，因為那些香爐是聖的；那些犯罪而自害己命的人的香爐也是聖的，你們要把它們錘成薄片，用來包蓋祭壇；那些香爐本是他們在耶和華面前獻過的，所以已經成為聖的，並且可以給以色列作鑒戒。”於是，以利亞撒祭司把被火焚燒的人獻過的銅香爐拿起來，叫人錘成薄片，用來包蓋祭壇，給以色列人作鑒戒，叫不是亞倫子孫的外人，不可近前來，在耶和華面前燒香，免得他像可拉和他的同黨有一樣的遭遇；這是照著耶和華藉摩西吩咐以利亞撒的。

“你要從以色列人中間選出利未人，潔淨他們。你潔淨他們當這樣行：要把除罪水灑在他們身上，又叫他們用剃刀剃全身；把衣服洗淨，潔淨自己。然後，叫他們取一頭公牛犢和同獻的素祭，就是用油調和的細麵；你要另取一頭公牛犢，作贖罪祭。你要把利未人帶到會幕前面，又要召集以色列的全體會眾；你要把利未人帶到耶和華面前，以色列人要按手在他們身上。亞倫要把利未人獻在耶和華面前，作以色列人中的搖祭，使他們辦理耶和華的事務。利未人要按手在那兩頭牛的頭上；你要把一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭，獻給耶和華，為利未人贖罪。你又要叫利未人站在亞倫和他的兒子們面前，把他們作搖祭獻給耶和華。“這樣，你要把利未人從以色列人中分別出來，利未人就要歸我。
