But a prophet of the Lord named Oded was there, and he went out to meet the army when it returned to Samaria. He said to them,“ Because the Lord, the God of your ancestors, was angry with Judah, he gave them into your hand. But you have slaughtered them in a rage that reaches to heaven.

He was very angry with Judah. So he handed them over to you. But you have killed them. Your anger reached all the way to heaven.

我向我的百姓发怒，使我的产业受凌辱，将他们交在你手中；然而你毫不怜悯他们，连老年人你也加极重的轭。

因你向兄弟雅各施暴，你必蒙羞，永被剪除。当陌生人掳掠雅各的财物，当外邦人进入他的城门，为耶路撒冷抽签分取财物的日子，你竟站在一旁，像与他们同伙。你兄弟遭难的日子，你不该瞪着眼看；犹大人被灭的日子，你不该幸灾乐祸；他们遭难的日子，你不该说狂傲的话。我子民遭灾的日子，你不该进他们的城门；他们遭灾的日子，你不该瞪着眼看他们受苦；他们遭灾的日子，你不该伸手抢他们的财物。他们遭难的日子，你不该站在岔路口剪除他们逃脱的人，你不该交出他们的幸存者。耶和华的日子临近万国；你所做的，人也必向你照样做，你的报应必归到自己头上。你们在我圣山怎样喝了苦杯，万国必照样不停地喝，且喝且吞，他们就必归于无有。

所以耶和华的怒气向以色列发作，把他们交给美索不达米亚王古珊‧利萨田的手中。以色列人服事古珊‧利萨田八年。

他对王说：“耶和华如此说：‘因你把我决定要消灭的人从你手中放走，所以你的命必代替他的命，你的百姓必代替他的百姓。’”

于是以赛亚先知到希西家王那里去，对他说：“这些人说了些什么？他们从哪里来见你？”希西家说：“他们从远方的巴比伦来。”以赛亚说：“他们在你家里看见了什么？”希西家说：“凡我家中所有的，他们都看见了；我财宝中没有一样东西不给他们看的。”

他们说：“来，让我们建造一座城和一座塔，塔顶通天。我们要为自己立名，免得我们分散在全地面上。”

耶和华—他的上帝将他交在亚兰王手里。亚兰王打败他，从他掳走了许多人，带到大马士革去。上帝又将他交在以色列王手里，以色列王向他大行杀戮。

那先知靠近以色列王，对他说：“去吧，你当自强，看清楚，也要知道你所要做的事，因为再过一年，亚兰王会上来攻击你。”

“人子啊，因推罗向耶路撒冷说：‘啊哈！那众民之门已经破坏，向我敞开；它既变为废墟，我必丰盛。’所以，主耶和华如此说：推罗，看哪，我与你为敌，使许多国家涌上攻击你，如同海洋使波浪涌上一样。

祸哉！亚述，我怒气的棍！他们手中的杖是我的恼恨。我要差遣他攻击亵渎的国，吩咐他对付我所恼怒的民，抢走掳物，夺取掠物，将他们践踏，如同街上的泥土一般。然而，这并非他的意念，他的心不是这样打算；他的心要摧毁，要剪除不少的国家。

因为你所击打的，他们就迫害；你所击伤的，他们述说他的愁苦。

我并未坐在享乐人的会中欢乐；因你的手，我就独自静坐，你使我满心愤慨。我的痛苦为何长久不止呢？我的伤痕为何无法可医，不能痊愈呢？难道你以诡诈待我，像流干的河道吗？

犹大王约沙法平安回耶路撒冷，到自己的宫里。哈拿尼的儿子耶户先见出来迎接约沙法王，对他说：“你怎么可以帮助恶人，爱那恨耶和华的人呢？因此耶和华的愤怒临到你了。

耶和华的怒气向亚玛谢发作，差派一个先知去见他，对他说：“这些神明不能救自己的百姓脱离你的手，你为何寻求它们呢？”先知与王说话的时候，王对他说：“难道我们立你作王的谋士吗？你住口吧！为何要挨打呢？”先知就止住了，却说：“我知道上帝已定意要消灭你，因为你行这事，不听从我的劝戒。”

耶和华说：“你做了什么事呢？你弟弟血的声音从地里向我哀号。

看哪，一个先知靠近以色列王亚哈，说：“耶和华如此说：‘这一大群人你看见了吗？看哪，今日我必把他们交在你手里，你就知道我是耶和华。’”
