But a prophet of the Lord named Oded was there, and he went out to meet the army when it returned to Samaria. He said to them,“ Because the Lord, the God of your ancestors, was angry with Judah, he gave them into your hand. But you have slaughtered them in a rage that reaches to heaven.

But a prophet of the Lord was there. His name was Oded. When the army returned to Samaria, he went out to meet them. He said to them,“ The Lord is the God of your people. He was very angry with Judah. So he handed them over to you. But you have killed them. Your anger reached all the way to heaven.

But a prophet of Yahweh was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army that came to Samaria, and said to them,“ Behold, because Yahweh, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, he has delivered them into your hand, and you have slain them in a rage which has reached up to heaven.

我向我的百姓發怒，使我的產業被褻瀆，將他們交在你手中，你毫不憐憫他們，把極重的軛加在老年人身上。

因你向兄弟雅各行強暴，羞愧必遮蓋你，你也必永遠斷絕。當外人擄掠雅各的財物，外邦人進入他的城門，為耶路撒冷拈鬮的日子，你竟站在一旁，像與他們同夥。你兄弟遭難的日子，你不當瞪眼看着；猶大人被滅的日子，你不當因此歡樂；他們遭難的日子，你不當說狂傲的話。我民遭災的日子，你不當進他們的城門；他們遭災的日子，你不當瞪眼看着他們受苦；他們遭災的日子，你不當伸手搶他們的財物；你不當站在岔路口剪除他們中間逃脫的；他們遭難的日子，你不當將他們剩下的人交付仇敵。耶和華降罰的日子臨近萬國。你怎樣行，他也必照樣向你行；你的報應必歸到你頭上。你們猶大人在我聖山怎樣喝了苦杯，萬國也必照樣常常地喝；且喝且咽，他們就歸於無有。

所以耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作，就把他們交在美索不達米亞王古珊‧利薩田的手中。以色列人服事古珊‧利薩田八年。

他對王說：「耶和華如此說：『因你將我定要滅絕的人放去，你的命就必代替他的命，你的民也必代替他的民。』」

於是先知以賽亞來見希西家王，問他說：「這些人說甚麼？他們從哪裏來見你？」希西家說：「他們從遠方的巴比倫來。」以賽亞說：「他們在你家裏看見了甚麼？」希西家說：「凡我家中所有的，他們都看見了；我財寶中沒有一樣不給他們看的。」

他們說：「來吧！我們要建造一座城和一座塔，塔頂通天，為要傳揚我們的名，免得我們分散在全地上。」

所以，耶和華－他的神將他交在亞蘭王手裏。亞蘭王打敗他，擄了他許多的民，帶到大馬士革去。神又將他交在以色列王手裏，以色列王向他大行殺戮。

那先知來見以色列王，對他說：「你當自強，留心怎樣防備；因為到明年這時候，亞蘭王必上來攻擊你。」

「人子啊，因泰爾向耶路撒冷說：『阿哈，那作眾民之門的已經破壞，向我開放；她既變為荒場，我必豐盛。』所以，主耶和華如此說：泰爾啊，我必與你為敵，使許多國民上來攻擊你，如同海使波浪湧上來一樣。

亞述是我怒氣的棍，手中拿我惱恨的杖。我要打發他攻擊褻瀆的國民，吩咐他攻擊我所惱怒的百姓，搶財為擄物，奪貨為掠物，將他們踐踏，像街上的泥土一樣。然而，他不是這樣的意思；他心也不這樣打算。他心裏倒想毀滅，剪除不少的國。

因為，你所擊打的，他們就逼迫；你所擊傷的，他們戲說他的愁苦。

我沒有坐在宴樂人的會中，也沒有歡樂；我因你的感動獨自靜坐，因你使我滿心憤恨。我的痛苦為何長久不止呢？我的傷痕為何無法醫治、不能痊癒呢？難道你待我有詭詐，像流乾的河道嗎？

猶大王約沙法平平安安地回耶路撒冷，到宮裏去了。先見哈拿尼的兒子耶戶出來迎接約沙法王，對他說：「你豈當幫助惡人，愛那恨惡耶和華的人呢？因此耶和華的忿怒臨到你。

因此，耶和華的怒氣向亞瑪謝發作，就差一個先知去見他，說：「這些神不能救它的民脫離你的手，你為何尋求它呢？」先知與王說話的時候，王對他說：「誰立你作王的謀士呢？你住口吧！為何找打呢？」先知就止住了，又說：「你行這事，不聽從我的勸戒，我知道神定意要滅你。」

耶和華說：「你做了甚麼事呢？你兄弟的血有聲音從地裏向我哀告。

有一個先知來見以色列王亞哈，說：「耶和華如此說：『這一大羣人你看見了嗎？今日我必將他們交在你手裏，你就知道我是耶和華。』」
