馬拿西攻以法蓮以法蓮攻馬拿西、二族兼攻猶大、上帝之忿怒猶未息、降罰猶未已也。

是時亞蘭王哩汛、及以色列王、哩馬利子比迦、咸來圍耶路撒冷、攻亞哈士、不能取勝。

如爾違耶和華、事他上帝、則祐爾之後、必反害爾、至於滅亡。

告之曰哩汛率亞蘭人、與哩馬利子相會、其怒雖烈、不過二火炬之餘燼、僅有微烟、爾勿畏葸、勿喪膽、可安爾心、亞蘭王與以法蓮王、哩馬利子謀攻爾曰、

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾合一處而去、必分七途而遁、播棄於天下億兆之中。

如爾背爾上帝耶和華所命之約、服事崇拜他上帝、則耶和華必震怒爾、使爾速亡、於其所賜之腴壤。

是時耶和華使亞蘭王哩汛、及哩馬利子比迦、往攻猶大、

俱必問曰、耶和華降罰於斯土、何為至於如此、其烈怒之甚、又曷故乎。人必曰、昔導斯民出於埃及、其祖之上帝耶和華與之立約、斯民違其言、從他上帝而崇奉之、然他上帝彼所未識、耶和華亦未嘗姑聽其服事、

民既犯法違例、爽其永約、故斯土咸染污衊、上帝降災、居民遭譴、如受火烙、存者無幾、

如爾不聽從爾上帝耶和華之命、不守我今日所傳之禁令禮儀、則必服咒詛、禍及其身、今詳言之。

曰、我不復鑒觀以眷顧之、必俟厥後當復如何、彼乃橫逆之族、無誠信之子、

往迓亞撒、告之曰、亞撒及猶大、便雅憫二族、其聽我言、如爾從耶和華、則蒙其祐、求之無弗得、遺之必見棄。

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾犯罪違道、必遭刑譴、俾爾知、遐棄我躬、不畏我威者、必備嘗艱苦。

耶和華又曰、爾違逆予、卻而不前、故我必舉手擊爾、滅爾殆盡、不可復忍、

罪人惡黨、同歸於盡、凡棄我者、淪胥以亡。

四方民之上帝、爾勿從之、恐爾上帝耶和華震怒、滅爾於地、蓋爾上帝耶和華斷不容以他上帝匹之。

亞庇雅率民大戮以色列族壯士五十萬。

謂摩西曰、爾必返本、斯民既詣斯土、必遺棄我、背我所立之約、狥己私欲、從異邦人之上帝。其時我必震怒、遺棄斯民、不復眷顧、使其並吞於人、多更災患、彼必曰、我不蒙上帝所佑、致遭此禍。
