Now listen to me! Send back your fellow Israelites you have taken as prisoners, for the Lord’s fierce anger rests on you.”

Listen to me! You have taken your relatives from Judah as prisoners. The Lord is very angry with you. So send your relatives back.”

Now hear me, and send back the captives from your relatives whom you have taken, for the fierce wrath of the Lord is upon you.”

Listen to me and return these prisoners you have taken, for they are your own relatives. Watch out, because now the Lord’s fierce anger has been turned against you!”

Listen to me and return the captives you took from your brothers, for the LORD’s burning anger is on you.”

Now then, listen to me and return the captives whom you captured from your brothers, for the burning anger of the Lord is against you.”

Now hear me, therefore, and return the captives, whom you have taken captive from your brethren, for the fierce wrath of the Lord is upon you.”

因為不憐憫人的會受到無情的審判，但憐憫勝過審判。

心存憐憫的人有福了，因為他們必蒙上帝的憐憫。

以色列軍隊從他們的猶大同胞中擄走了二十萬婦孺，同時也將大量戰利品帶回撒瑪利亞。

倘若你們的希伯來同胞賣身做你們的奴隸，服侍你們六年後，到第七年你們要給他們自由。你們的祖先卻掩耳不聽。不久前，你們回心轉意，做我視為正的事，釋放自己的同胞，並且在我的殿中立了約。

不如讓我們的首領為全體會眾處理這事，讓那些娶了外族女子為妻的人在指定的時間與本城的長老和審判官一起來找首領解決，直到我們的上帝因這事而發的烈怒離開我們。」

你們要繼續彼此相愛，情同手足。不要忘記款待客旅，因為曾經有人接待客旅時不知不覺接待了天使。要設身處地地顧念那些被囚禁的人，要感同身受地顧念那些遭遇苦難的人。

因為你們怎樣論斷別人，也必照樣被論斷；你們用什麼尺度衡量別人，也要用什麼尺度衡量你們。
