But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD[ is] not with Israel,[ to wit, with] all the children of Ephraim.

But a man of God came to him and said,“ Your Majesty, these troops from Israel must not march with you, for the Lord is not with Israel— not with any of the people of Ephraim.

But a man of God came to him and said,“ O king, do not let the army of Israel go with you, for the Lord is not with Israel, with all these Ephraimites.

But a man of God came to him and said,“ Your Majesty, do not hire troops from Israel, for the Lord is not with Israel. He will not help those people of Ephraim!

However, a man of God came to him and said,“ King, do not let Israel’s army go with you, for the LORD is not with Israel— all the Ephraimites.

But a man of God came to him saying,“ O king, do not let the army of Israel come with you, for the Lord is not with Israel nor with any of the sons of Ephraim.

But a prophet visited him and said:“ O king, the Israelite troops must not go with you, for the LORD is not with Israel or any of the Ephraimites.

A man of God came to him, saying,“ O king, don’t let the army of Israel go with you, for Yahweh is not with Israel, with all the children of Ephraim.

And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore[ is] wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.

Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus,[ is] planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah[ saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.For I[ will be] unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I,[ even] I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue[ him].I will go[ and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves[ of] gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

And, behold, God himself[ is] with us for[ our] captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty[ is] a fading flower, which[ are] on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one,[ which] as a tempest of hail[ and] a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
