你们要用火焚烧他们神明的雕刻偶像；不可贪爱偶像上的金银，也不可私自收起来，免得你因此陷入圈套，因为这是耶和华—你上帝所憎恶的。

没有一个心里醒悟，有知识，有聪明，能说：“我曾拿一部分用火燃烧，在炭火上烤饼，也烤肉来吃。这剩下的，我岂要做可憎之像吗？我岂可向木头叩拜呢？”

非利士人把偶像抛弃在那里，大卫和他的人拿去了。
