約阿施對眾祭司說：「凡奉到耶和華殿分別為聖之物所值通用的銀子，或各人當納的身價，或樂意奉到耶和華殿的銀子，

然而，有一件事我要責備你，就是你容讓那自稱是先知的婦人耶洗別教導我的僕人，引誘他們行姦淫，吃祭偶像之物。

那時這不法的人必顯露出來。主耶穌要用口中的氣滅絕他，用降臨的榮光廢掉他。

她不知道是我給她五穀、新酒，和油，又加增她的金銀；她卻以此供奉巴力。因此到了收割的日子，出酒的時候，我必將我的五穀、新酒收回，也必將她應當遮體的羊毛和麻奪回來。

你又將我所給你那華美的金銀、寶器為自己製造人像，與他行邪淫；又用你的繡花衣服給他披上，並將我的膏油和香料擺在他跟前；又將我賜給你的食物，就是我賜給你吃的細麵、油，和蜂蜜，都擺在他跟前為馨香的供物。這是主耶和華說的。並且你將給我所生的兒女焚獻給他。你行淫亂豈是小事，竟將我的兒女殺了，使他們經火歸與他嗎？

以斯帖說：「仇人敵人就是這惡人哈曼！」哈曼在王和王后面前就甚驚惶。

我必追討她素日給諸巴力燒香的罪；那時她佩帶耳環和別樣妝飾，隨從她所愛的，卻忘記我。這是耶和華說的。

義人的紀念被稱讚；惡人的名字必朽爛。
