那時上帝的靈覆被在祭司耶何耶大的兒子撒迦利亞身上，撒迦利亞就站在比人民高的地方，對他們說：『上帝這麼說：「你們為甚麼越犯了永恆主的誡命，以致不能順利呢？因為你們離棄了永恆主，永恆主也離棄你們。」』

上帝之靈感祭司耶何耶大子撒迦利亞、乃立於上、告民曰、上帝云、爾何干耶和華之命、致不亨通、爾既棄耶和華、彼亦棄爾、

祭司耶何耶大子撒加利亞、感上帝之神、當眾前言曰、上帝云、爾違耶和華命曷故、爾必不亨通、爾棄耶和華、耶和華亦棄爾。

Then the Spirit of God came on Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood before the people and said,“ This is what God says:‘ Why do you disobey the Lord’s commands? You will not prosper. Because you have forsaken the Lord, he has forsaken you.’”

Then the Spirit of God came on Zechariah the priest. He was the son of Jehoiada. Zechariah stood in front of the people. He told them,“ God says,‘ Why do you refuse to obey my commands? You will not have success. You have deserted me. So I have deserted you.’ ”

Then the Spirit of God clothed Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, and he stood above the people, and said to them,“ Thus says God,‘ Why do you break the commandments of the Lord, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the Lord, he has forsaken you.’”

Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood before the people and said,“ This is what God says: Why do you disobey the Lord’s commands and keep yourselves from prospering? You have abandoned the Lord, and now he has abandoned you!”

The Spirit of God enveloped Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood above the people and said to them,“ This is what God says,‘ Why are you transgressing the LORD’s commands so that you do not prosper? Because you have abandoned the LORD, he has abandoned you.’”

Then the Spirit of God covered Zechariah, the son of Jehoiada the priest like clothing; and he stood above the people and said to them,“ This is what God has said,‘ Why do you break the commandments of the Lord and do not prosper? Because you have abandoned the Lord, He has also abandoned you.’ ”

Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, who stood above the people, and said to them,“ Thus says God:‘ Why do you transgress the commandments of the Lord, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the Lord, He also has forsaken you.’”

And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of Jehovah, so that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken Jehovah, he hath also forsaken you.

The Spirit of God took control of Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood above the people and said to them,“ This is what God says,‘ Why are you transgressing the Lord’s commands and you do not prosper? Because you have abandoned the Lord, He has abandoned you.’”

And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.

God’s Spirit energized Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood up before the people and said to them,“ This is what God says:‘ Why are you violating the commands of the LORD? You will not be prosperous! Because you have rejected the LORD, he has rejected you!’”

The Spirit of God came on Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people, and said to them,“ God says,‘ Why do you disobey Yahweh’s commandments, so that you can’t prosper? Because you have forsaken Yahweh, he has also forsaken you.’”

那時，耶和華的靈在會眾中臨到利未人亞薩的後裔雅哈悉，他是瑪探雅的玄孫，耶利的曾孫，比拿雅的孫子，撒迦利雅的兒子。

摩西說：「你們為何要這樣違背耶和華的指示呢？這事必不能順利。

神的靈臨到俄德的兒子亞撒利雅。他出來迎接亞撒，對他說：「亞撒，猶大和便雅憫眾人哪，要聽我說：你們若順從耶和華，耶和華必與你們同在；你們若尋求他，就必尋見；你們若離棄他，他必離棄你們。

那時軍官的領袖亞瑪撒受靈的感動說：「大衛啊，我們歸向你！耶西的兒子啊，我們幫助你！願你平平安安，願幫助你的也都平安！因為你的神幫助你。」大衛就收留他們，派他們作軍官。

如此，地上所有義人流的血都歸到你們身上，從義人亞伯的血起，直到你們在聖所和祭壇中間所殺的巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止。

你的作風和行為招惹這事；這是你罪惡的結果，實在是苦，刺透了你的心！」

人必說：『這是因為這地的人離棄了耶和華－他們列祖的神領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約，去事奉別神，敬拜他們所不認識的神明，這是耶和華未曾允許的。

百姓若說：『耶和華－我們的神為甚麼向我們行這一切事呢？』你就對他們說：『你們怎樣離棄我，在你們的地上事奉外邦神明，也必照樣在不屬你們的地上事奉外族人。』」

他們卻不留意；聳肩悖逆，耳朵發沉，不肯聽從。他們的心堅硬如金剛石，不聽律法和萬軍之耶和華藉着他的靈差遣從前先知所說的話。因此，萬軍之耶和華大發烈怒。萬軍之耶和華說：我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽！我必以旋風將他們吹散到素不認識的萬國中。他們離開以後，地就荒涼，無人來往經過；他們使美好之地荒涼了。」

撒母耳對掃羅說：「你做了糊塗事了，沒有遵守耶和華－你神吩咐你的命令。不然，耶和華會在以色列中堅立你的國度，直到永遠。現在你的國度必不長久。耶和華已經尋着一個合他心意的人，立他作百姓的君王，因為你沒有遵守耶和華所吩咐你的。」

你為甚麼藐視耶和華的命令，做他眼中看為惡的事呢？你用刀擊殺赫人烏利亞，又娶了他的妻子為妻，借亞捫人的刀殺死他。現在刀劍必永不離開你的家，因你藐視我，娶了赫人烏利亞的妻子為妻。』

你們的罪孽使這些轉離你們，你們的罪惡使你們不能得福。

「我兒所羅門哪，你當認識耶和華－你父的神，全心樂意地事奉他，因為耶和華鑒察眾人的心，知道一切心思意念。你若尋求他，他必使你尋見；你若離棄他，他必永遠丟棄你。

他們領約阿施出來，給他戴上冠冕，把律法書交給他，立他作王。耶何耶大和他的兒子們膏他，他們說：「願王萬歲！」

耶和華的靈降在基甸身上；他吹角，亞比以謝族都聚集跟隨他。

你自己的惡必懲治你，你背道的事必責罰你。由此可知可見，你離棄耶和華－你的神，不存敬畏我的心，實為惡事，為苦事；這是萬軍之主耶和華說的。」
