因此，你这论断人的啊，不管你是谁，都难逃罪责。你在什么事上论断别人，就在什么事上定了自己的罪，因为你论断别人的事，自己也在做。我们都知道，上帝必按真理审判做这些事的人。

义人增多，万众欢腾；恶人得势，万民叹息。

耶和华对摩西说：“你要用银子打造两支号，用来招聚会众和发出拔营的号令。吹响两支号时，全体会众要聚集到你那里，即会幕门口。如果只吹响一支号，担任首领的以色列各族长要聚集到你那里。如果吹响拔营的号令，在东面扎营的就要启行；第二次吹响拔营号令时，在南面扎营的就要启行。拔营号令是启行的信号。但吹号招聚会众时，不要用拔营号令。做祭司的亚伦子孙要负责吹号，这是世代不变的律例。当你们在自己的土地上跟敌人作战时，要吹号，你们的上帝耶和华必眷顾你们，救你们脱离敌人。在节期和朔日这些欢乐的日子献燔祭和平安祭的时候，你们要吹号，好在你们的上帝面前蒙眷顾。我是你们的上帝耶和华。”

但他们终必充满恐惧，因为上帝站在义人当中。

大卫又吩咐利未人的族长去派他们的族人做歌乐手，伴着琴瑟和钹的乐声欢唱。于是，利未人指派约珥的儿子希幔和他的亲族比利迦的儿子亚萨，以及他的亲族米拉利的后代古沙雅的儿子以探。协助他们的亲族有撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、比拿雅、玛西雅、玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅，以及守门的俄别·以东和耶利。歌乐手希幔、亚萨和以探负责敲铜钹，撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、玛西雅、比拿雅负责鼓瑟，调用高音。玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅、俄别·以东、耶利、亚撒西雅负责带领弹琴，调用低音。利未人的族长基拿尼雅善于歌唱，是歌乐手的领班。

于是，基甸留下这三百人，把其余人的食物和号角收集起来，让他们回家。米甸人的军营就在他们下面的山谷里。

他们周围的人，远至以萨迦、西布伦和拿弗他利支派的人，都用驴、骆驼、骡子和牛驮来面饼、无花果饼、葡萄干、酒和油，又牵来许多牛和羊，以色列境内充满了欢乐。

约兰调转车头逃跑，向亚哈谢大喊：“亚哈谢，他反了！”

王站在柱旁，在耶和华面前立约，要全心全意地跟随耶和华，遵从祂的一切诫命、法度和律例，履行约书上的规定。民众都答应守约。

见到以利亚后，就说：“给以色列带来灾祸的就是你吗？”以利亚回答说：“给以色列带来灾祸的不是我，而是你和你父亲家，因为你们抛弃耶和华的诫命，去随从巴力。

大卫和抬约柜的利未人、歌乐手及其领班基拿尼雅都穿上细麻衣，大卫还穿上细麻布的以弗得。

我们这队吹响号角时，你们也要在敌营四周吹响号角，高喊，‘为了耶和华！为了基甸！’”午夜初，守卫刚换班，基甸带着一百人来到米甸营旁。他们吹响号角，打破手中的瓦瓶。其余的二百人也吹响号角，打破瓦瓶。他们左手举着火把，右手拿着号角，高喊：“为耶和华和基甸而战！”他们在敌营周围各守其位，米甸全军边喊边逃。基甸的三百人一起吹响号角时，耶和华使米甸人自相残杀。他们逃往西利拉的伯·哈示他，一直逃到靠近他巴的亚伯·米何拉的边境。

他们连忙将自己的衣服铺在耶户脚下的台阶上，吹响号角，高喊：“耶户做王了！”

义人亨通，全城快乐；恶人灭亡，人人欢呼。
