耶戶仰觀牖間、曰、誰肯助我。二三宦豎、自牖而窺。耶戶曰、可擲此婦、使隕於下。遂擲之、血濺於墻、及於馬。耶戶蹴以足。遂入宮中、式飲式食、既畢、則謂左右曰、是婦雖服咒詛、然為王女、當往觀而瘞其尸。往欲葬之、僅得其頭顱、及手足之掌而已。左右反告。耶戶曰、昔耶和華命的庇人以利亞云、在耶斯烈田、耶洗別必為犬所噬、其尸必化糞壤、於耶斯烈田、後人不得指之而言、是乃耶洗別尸、是言應矣。
