Jehoiada and his sons brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; they presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him and shouted,“ Long live the king!”

地上君王列陣站着，眾執政者聚集在一處，敵擋主，敵擋他所膏立的」。希律和本丟彼拉多、同外國人和以色列眾族之民、真地在這城裏聚集，攻打你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，

我尋得了我的僕人大衛，用我的聖膏膏了他；

你斥棄了與你僕人所立的約，將他的冠冕污辱於地。

你以美物之福來迎接他，你把淨金的冠冕戴在他頭上。

使他們成國為祭司、可親近我們的上帝；他們必在地上掌王權。』

現在呢、君王啊，你們要機警些；地上審判官哪，你們該聽忠告。要存畏懼心來事奉永恆主，要戰兢兢快樂，要純誠誠親嘴拜服，恐怕他發怒，你們就在路中滅亡；因為他的怒氣很快就要發作。凡避難於他裏面的都有福啊。

大衛的心腹、亞基人戶篩來見押沙龍；戶篩對押沙龍說：『願王萬歲！願王萬歲！』

我親愛的弟兄們請聽，上帝豈不是揀選了世人以為窮的而富於信仰，以承受他所應許給愛他之人的國麼？

他在雅各中立了法度，在以色列中設了律法，是他吩咐我們祖宗、要教訓他們子孫，

寶座周圍有二十四個座位；有二十四位長老坐在座位上；身披白衣，頭戴金華冠。

不，人應當以上帝所指教的和神言人所警告的為根據；他們若不按這標準說話，就得不到曙光。

他的眼睛像火燄；他頭上戴着許多冠冕；他有名字寫着、除了他自己、沒有人能認識；

於是以色列眾長老都到希伯崙來見大衛王；大衛王在希伯崙永恆主面前和他們立約，他們就膏立了大衛做王來管理以色列。

我把神言人的警告綁着，將上帝所指教的封住，以免有學問的人閱讀它。

二十四位長老總俯伏在坐寶座者面前，敬拜那永遠活着、世世無窮的，總把他們的華冠丟在寶座前，說：

我們只看見那被派為暫時比天使小的耶穌；因受了死的苦，就接受榮耀尊貴做華冠給戴上，好叫他、因着上帝的恩、替萬人嘗了嘗死。

祭司撒督就從帳棚中取了盛膏油的角來，膏立了所羅門；人就吹號角，眾民都說：『願所羅門王萬歲！』

永恆主在西乃山和摩西說完了話，就把兩塊法版交給摩西，是石版，上帝用手指頭寫的。

列王必做你的養父，他們的王后必做你的奶媽；他們必將臉伏地，向你下拜，餂你腳上的塵土；你便知道我乃是永恆主，等候我的必不至於失望。』

『將來他登了國位，就要從祭司利未人面前的原本、為自己用一卷錄寫這律法的抄本。那書要時常在他身邊，儘他一生的日子他總要誦讀，好學習敬畏他的上帝，謹守這律法書上的一切話，也守這些律例去遵行；免得他心高氣傲、藐視他的族弟兄，也免得他離了這誡命、而偏左偏右；好使他和他子孫在以色列中治國延年益壽。

我準知道他仆倒後必活不了，就去站在他身旁，將他殺死，把他頭上的王冠、手臂上的環子、拿到我主這裏來。』

在那裏、祭司撒督和神言人拿單要膏立他為王來管理以色列；你們也要吹號角，說：「願所羅門王萬歲！」

撒母耳拿了一瓶膏油澆在掃羅頭上，和他親嘴，說：「這不是永恆主膏立你做管理他民的人君麼？你必管束永恆主的人民；必拯救他們脫離四圍仇敵的手。永恆主膏立了你做管理他產業的人君；這要給你做記號。

前行後隨的羣眾都喊着說：『願頌讚歸於大衛的子孫哦！奉主名來的是當受祝頌的！在至高之處獻頌讚哦！』

我必使他的仇敵披上羞辱；但他的冠冕必在他頭上發光。』

但是王的女兒約示巴將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施、從那些將要被殺死的王子中偷出來，把他和他的奶媽都放在貯藏床鋪的內室裏。約蘭王的女兒約示巴、祭司耶何耶大的妻子，因為是亞哈謝的妹子，便得以將約阿施藏起來、以躲避亞他利雅的勢面，亞他利雅就沒有將約阿施殺死。

堅心忍受試煉的人是有福的；因為他既被試驗為良好，便可得着生命的華冠，就是上帝應許給愛他的人的。
