耶和華昔與大闢約、俾歷代有光、故大闢之家不殲滅。

雖然、主緣昔與大衛立約、仍不欲翦滅大衛家、循主所許大衛者、欲永賜光光或作明燈於大衛、爰及子孫、

Nevertheless, because of the covenant the Lord had made with David, the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David. He had promised to maintain a lamp for him and his descendants forever.

But the Lord didn’t want to destroy the royal family of David. That’s because the Lord had made a covenant with him. The Lord had promised to keep the lamp of David’s kingdom burning brightly. The Lord had promised that for David and his children after him forever.

Yet the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and since he had promised to give a lamp to him and to his sons forever.

But the Lord did not want to destroy David’s dynasty, for he had made a covenant with David and promised that his descendants would continue to rule, shining like a lamp forever.

but for the sake of the covenant the LORD had made with David, he was unwilling to destroy the house of David since the LORD had promised to give a lamp to David and to his sons forever.

Yet the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David because of the covenant which He had made with David, and because He had promised to give a lamp to him and his sons forever.

遺一支派予彼、使我僕大闢歷世有光、於我所簡之耶路撒冷、為籲我名之所。

爾逝世之期既至、得與祖父同墓、我將以爾所出之苗裔、使繼爾位、鞏固其國、彼將為我建殿、我必俾其國祚恆久弗替。我必為其父、彼必為我子、若其行惡、我將責之、猶人之督責其子。我必待之以恩、不若掃羅、恩義已絕。昔我棄掃羅、簡擇於爾、必昌熾爾後、綿長爾祚、永世弗替。拿單見異象、聞諭言、以告大闢。

亦不奪其全土、乃因我僕大闢、亦因我所選之耶路撒冷故、必遺一支派、以予爾子。

為我挺拯救之角、於其臣大闢家、

居幽暗陰翳者光照之、導我履平康之道矣、○

我儕往攻猶大、使其恐懼、奪其土地、立大庇押子為王、然我耶和華云、此謀必不成、

永施仁慈、與彼立約兮、克昌厥後、至於恆久、國祚永綏、與天同休兮、如其子孫、違我律例、不從法度、棄我禮儀、不守誡命、則必責其罪、置其愆兮、然我不屯其膏、以踐前言兮、不棄我約、不易我言兮、

在彼必使大闢崢嶸厥角、沐以膏者、歷代有光兮。敵必蒙羞、彼必冠冕、赫赫榮華兮。

我已立約、晝夜不失其時、如此約可廢。則我與僕大闢約、言必有後、以踐國位、及我與利未人祭司約、言不乏人、以服事我、斯約亦可廢。天象不可測、海沙不能度、我僕大闢之裔、及服事我之利未人必使繁衍、亦若是。耶和華諭耶利米曰、爾聞人言、昔耶和華所選之二族、今遐棄之、於是人藐視我民、不以為邦國、惟我曰、我與晝夜立約、必不爽之、我定天地之例、必不廢之、則雅各家及我僕大闢、豈可棄之如遺、必簡其子孫、使治亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各後裔、蓋我必矜恤之、返其俘囚。

昔與立約、而今廢之、所冠之冕、則污衊之兮、

蒙上帝佑、吾裔必若是、彼與我立約、約已定擬、恆久不移、我望乎此、以得拯救、今雖未得、終必成之。

西魯雅子亞庇篩救之、殺非利士人、於是大闢僕從誓曰、斯後爾斷不可往戰、恐滅以色列族之光。

昔耶和華許厥僕大闢、爰及子孫、歷世有光、故猶大一族、不行翦滅。

耶和華兮、爾與大闢發誓、必不有易斯言、曰、將以爾所出之苗裔、俾繼厥位兮。

約蘭王女約示巴、下嫁於祭司耶何耶大、亞哈謝之妹也、取亞哈謝子約轄、與其乳媼、藏於寢室、以避亞大利、恐與眾王子同罹患難。
