该隐与他兄弟亚伯说话；二人正在田间。该隐起来打他兄弟亚伯，把他杀了。

不可像该隐；他是属那恶者，杀了他的兄弟。为什么杀了他呢？因自己的行为是恶的，兄弟的行为是善的。

这样，神报应亚比米勒向他父亲所行的恶，就是杀了弟兄七十个人的恶。示剑人的一切恶，神也都报应在他们头上；耶路巴力的儿子约坦的咒诅归到他们身上了。

耶户讨亚哈家罪的时候，遇见犹大的众首领和亚哈谢的众侄子服侍亚哈谢，就把他们都杀了。
