他们走遍犹大，从犹大各城里招聚利未人和以色列的众族长到耶路撒冷来。

于是王和以色列的众首领都自卑说：“耶和华是公义的。”

便召聚众祭司和利未人，吩咐他们说：“你们要往犹大各城去，使以色列众人捐纳银子，每年可以修理你们神的殿；你们要急速办理这事。”只是利未人不急速办理。

亚哈斯与他列祖同睡，葬在耶路撒冷城里，没有送入以色列诸王的坟墓中。他儿子希西家接续他作王。

因为以色列王亚哈斯在犹大放肆，大大干犯耶和华，所以耶和华使犹大卑微。

他祭祀攻击他的大马士革之神，说：“因为亚兰王的神帮助他们，我也献祭与他，他好帮助我。”但那些神使他和以色列众人败亡了。

葬在大卫城列王的坟墓里；因为他在以色列人中行善，又侍奉神，修理神的殿。

约兰兴起坐他父的位，奋勇自强，就用刀杀了他的众兄弟和以色列的几个首领。

玛拿西其余的事和祷告他神的话，并先见奉耶和华以色列神的名警戒他的言语，都写在以色列诸王记上。

自从先知撒母耳以来，在以色列中没有守过这样的逾越节，以色列诸王也没有守过，像约西亚、祭司、利未人、在那里的犹大人，和以色列人，以及耶路撒冷居民所守的逾越节。
