以色列王約阿施在伯示麥捉住了亞哈謝的孫子約阿施的兒子猶大王亞瑪謝，將他帶到耶路撒冷，將耶路撒冷的城牆拆個破口，從以法蓮門直到角門，共四百肘。

這是因為那惡婦人亞他利雅的兒子們曾經闖進上帝的殿，將永恆主殿中分別為聖之物拿去供奉巴力。

我曾見愚妄人扎下了根，但忽然之間他的莊舍又被挖透了。他的兒女遠離了穩妥地步，他們在城門口被欺壓，也無人援救。
