以色列王約阿施在伯．示麥捉住了約哈斯的孫子、約阿施的兒子、猶大王亞瑪謝，把他帶到耶路撒冷，又拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，從以法蓮門直到角門，共兩百公尺。

原來那惡婦亞他利雅的眾子曾經拆毀神的殿，又把耶和華殿中一切分別為聖的物品用來供奉巴力。

我看見愚昧人扎下了根，但咒詛忽然臨到他的居所。他的兒女遠離安穩之處，在城門口被欺壓卻沒有人援救。
