而是重蹈以色列诸王的覆辙，与亚哈家一样，引诱犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民与假神苟合，还杀了比你好的兄弟。

却随从了以色列诸王的道路，使犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，好像亚哈家行邪淫一样；又杀了你父家比你良善的众兄弟；

乃行以色列諸王的道，使猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，像亞哈家一樣，又殺了你父家比你好的諸兄弟。

乃是走以色列諸王的路，使猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民變節去服事別的神，像亞哈家使以色列人變了節一樣；你並且殺死了你父親家裏比你好的眾兄弟；

乃從以色列列王之道、使猶大人及耶路撒冷居民狥欲、如亞哈家然、又戮爾父家諸弟、愈於爾者、

乃效以色列列王尤、使猶大族、耶路撒冷民、狥私欲、拜偶像、與亞哈家無異、亦因爾殺愈己之昆弟、

乃效以色列列王之所為、使猶大人與耶路撒冷居民行邪、與亞哈家無異、又在爾父家殺愈爾之諸弟、

But you have followed the ways of the kings of Israel, and you have led Judah and the people of Jerusalem to prostitute themselves, just as the house of Ahab did. You have also murdered your own brothers, members of your own family, men who were better than you.

Instead, you have followed the ways of the kings of Israel. You have led Judah and the people of Jerusalem to worship other gods, just as the royal family of Ahab did. Also, you have murdered your own brothers. They were members of your own family. They were better men than you are.

but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel and have enticed Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem into whoredom, as the house of Ahab led Israel into whoredom, and also you have killed your brothers, of your father’s house, who were better than you,

Instead, you have been as evil as the kings of Israel. You have led the people of Jerusalem and Judah to worship idols, just as King Ahab did in Israel. And you have even killed your own brothers, men who were better than you.

but have walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, have caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to prostitute themselves like the house of Ahab prostituted itself, and also have killed your brothers, your father’s family, who were better than you,

but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to be unfaithful as the house of Ahab was unfaithful, and you have also killed your brothers, your own family, who were better than you,

but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the harlot like the harlotry of the house of Ahab, and also have killed your brothers, those of your father’s household, who were better than yourself,

but hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the harlot, like as the house of Ahab did, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father’s house, who were better than thyself:

but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, have caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to prostitute themselves like the house of Ahab prostituted itself, and also have killed your brothers, your father’s family, who were better than you,

But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father’s house,[ which were] better than thyself:

but have instead followed in the footsteps of the kings of Israel. You encouraged the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem to be unfaithful to the LORD, just as the family of Ahab does in Israel. You also killed your brothers, members of your father’s family, who were better than you.

約蘭起來治理他父親的國，奮勇自強，用刀殺了他所有的兄弟和以色列的幾個領袖。

他又在猶大山嶺建造丘壇，使耶路撒冷的居民行淫，誘惑猶大。

暗利的兒子亞哈行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，比他以前所有的王更嚴重。他犯了尼八的兒子耶羅波安所犯的罪，還當作是小事，又娶了西頓王謁巴力的女兒耶洗別為妻，去事奉巴力，敬拜它，又在撒瑪利亞建巴力廟，在廟裏為巴力築壇。亞哈又造亞舍拉，他所做的惹耶和華－以色列的上帝發怒，比他以前所有的以色列王更嚴重。

他行以色列諸王的道，正如亞哈家所行的，因他娶了亞哈的女兒為妻，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。

我看見背道的以色列行淫，我為這緣故給她休書休了她，她奸詐的妹妹猶大還不懼怕，也去行淫。因以色列輕忽了她的淫亂，與石頭和木頭行姦淫，她和這地就都污穢了。

耶和華對摩西說：「看哪，你必和你的祖先同睡。這百姓要起來，在他們所要去的地上，在那地的人中，隨從外邦的神明行淫，離棄我，違背我與他們所立的約。

你不可與那地的居民立約，因為他們隨從自己的神明行淫；祭他們神明的時候，有人邀請你參加，你就會吃他的祭物。

這樣，上帝報應了亞比米勒向他父親所做的惡事，就是殺了自己七十個兄弟。示劍人的一切惡事，上帝也都報應在他們頭上；耶路巴力的兒子約坦的詛咒都臨到他們身上了。

王對他說：「你可以照着他的話去做，殺了他，把他葬了，好叫約押流無辜人血的罪不歸在我和我的父家。耶和華必使約押的血歸到他自己頭上，因為他擊殺兩個比他又公義又良善的人，就是尼珥的兒子以色列的元帥押尼珥和益帖的兒子猶大的元帥亞瑪撒，用刀殺了他們，我父親大衛卻不知道。這二人的血必歸到約押和他後裔頭上，直到永遠；惟有大衛和他的後裔，以及他的家與王位，必從耶和華那裏得平安，直到永遠。」

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，怎麼能平安呢？」

暗利行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，比他以前所有的王作惡更嚴重。

耶和華說：「你做了甚麼事呢？你弟弟血的聲音從地裏向我哀號。現在你必從這地受詛咒，這地開了口，從你手裏接受你弟弟的血。你耕種土地，它不再給你效力；你必流離飄蕩在地上。」

他們彼此說：「我們在弟弟身上實在犯了罪。他哀求我們的時候，我們看見他的痛苦，卻不肯聽，所以這場苦難臨到我們。」呂便回答他們說：「我不是對你們說過，不可傷害那孩子嗎？只是你們不肯聽，看哪，他的血在追討了。」

因為，看哪，耶和華從他的居所出來，要懲罰地上居民的罪孽。地必露出其中的血，不再掩蓋被殺的人。

禍哉！那以鮮血建城、以罪孽造鎮的人！
