He prayed,“ O Lord, God of our ancestors, you alone are the God who is in heaven. You are ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth. You are powerful and mighty; no one can stand against you!

说：“耶和华—我们列祖的神啊，你不是天上的神吗？你不是万邦万国的主宰吗？在你手中有大能大力，无人能抵挡你。

说：“我们祖先的上帝耶和华啊，你不是住在天上的上帝吗？你主宰万邦万国，你手中有权柄和能力，无人能抵挡你。

说：“耶和华我们列祖的神啊，你不是天上的神吗？你不是统治列邦万国的吗？你手中有大能大力，没有人能抵挡你。

說：「耶和華－我們列祖的神啊，你不是天上的神嗎？你不是萬邦萬國的主宰嗎？在你手中有大能大力，無人能抵擋你。

說：「耶和華－我們列祖的上帝啊，你不是天上的上帝嗎？你不是萬邦萬國的主宰嗎？在你手中有大能大力，無人能抵擋你。

說：「耶和華－我們列祖的神啊，你不是天上的神嗎？你不是萬邦萬國的主宰嗎？在你手中有大能大力，無人能抵擋你。

說：「我們祖先的上帝耶和華啊，你不是住在天上的上帝嗎？你主宰萬邦萬國，你手中有權柄和能力，無人能抵擋你。

說：“耶和華我們列祖的神啊，你不是天上的神嗎？你不是統治列邦萬國的嗎？你手中有大能大力，沒有人能抵擋你。

說：『永恆主我們列祖的上帝啊，你不是天上的上帝麼？你不是列邦萬國的統治者麼？在你手中有大能大力；沒有人能抵抗你。

曰、我列祖之上帝耶和華歟、爾非天上上帝乎、爾非治萬民諸國乎、爾手有能有力、無人能禦爾也、

禱曰、我列祖之上帝耶和華、穹蒼之上帝、萬國之主宰、爾有能力、莫之敢禦。

禱曰、主我列祖之天主、上天之主宰、治理萬邦萬國、主手有大力大能、無人能拒、

and said:“ Lord, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.

He said,“ Lord, you are the God of our people who lived long ago. You are the God who is in heaven. You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. You are strong and powerful. No one can fight against you and win.

and said,“ O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you.

He said: LORD, God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven, and do you not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in your hand, and no one can stand against you.

and he said,“ Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You.

and said:“ O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?

and he said, O Jehovah, the God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and art not thou ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? and in thy hand is power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee.

He said: Yahweh, the God of our ancestors, are You not the God who is in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can stand against You.

And said, O LORD God of our fathers,[ art] not thou God in heaven? and rulest[ not] thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand[ is there not] power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

He prayed:“ O LORD God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you.

and he said,“ Yahweh, the God of our fathers, aren’t you God in heaven? Aren’t you ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in your hand, so that no one is able to withstand you.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.

“ So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.

For this has been decreed by the messengers; it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses— even to the lowliest of people.”

God reigns above the nations, sitting on his holy throne.

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this:“ I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.For I will not fight against you forever; I will not always be angry. If I were, all people would pass away— all the souls I have made.

You will be driven from human society, and you will live in the fields with the wild animals. You will eat grass like a cow, and you will be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.

and he prayed,“ O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven above or on the earth below. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.

Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.

I am the God of your father— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.

“ O Lord, the God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, make your people always want to obey you. See to it that their love for you never changes.

For the Lord Most High is awesome. He is the great King of all the earth.

With my great strength and powerful arm I made the earth and all its people and every animal. I can give these things of mine to anyone I choose.Now I will give your countries to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, who is my servant. I have put everything, even the wild animals, under his control.All the nations will serve him, his son, and his grandson until his time is up. Then many nations and great kings will conquer and rule over Babylon.So you must submit to Babylon’s king and serve him; put your neck under Babylon’s yoke! I will punish any nation that refuses to be his slave, says the Lord. I will send war, famine, and disease upon that nation until Babylon has conquered it.

This is what the Lord says:“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that? Could you build me such a resting place?

No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things. For the Lord your God is the supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below.

And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to stand in God’s way?”

God also said to Moses,“ Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob— has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.“ Now go and call together all the elders of Israel. Tell them,‘ Yahweh, the God of your ancestors— the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob— has appeared to me. He told me,“ I have been watching closely, and I see how the Egyptians are treating you.

Our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes.

And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

God has spoken plainly, and I have heard it many times: Power, O God, belongs to you;

You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.’“ That same hour the judgment was fulfilled, and Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as eagles’ feathers and his nails were like birds’ claws.“ After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him,‘ What do you mean by doing these things?’
