The people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him.

The people came together to ask the Lord for help. In fact, they came from every town in Judah to pray to him.

And Judah assembled to seek help from the Lord; from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

So people from all the towns of Judah came to Jerusalem to seek the Lord’s help.

Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

for God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. Then people will settle there and possess it;

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.

He appointed judges in the land, in each of the fortified cities of Judah.
