And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”

Jehoshaphat asked the people for advice. Then he appointed men to sing to the Lord. He wanted them to praise the Lord because of his glory and holiness. They marched out in front of the army. They said,“ Give thanks to the Lord. His faithful love continues forever.”

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say,“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang:“ Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!”

Then he consulted with the people and appointed some to sing for the LORD and some to praise the splendor of his holiness. When they went out in front of the armed forces, they kept singing: Give thanks to the LORD, for his faithful love endures forever.

When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said,“ Give thanks to the Lord, for His faithfulness is everlasting.”

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:“ Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.”

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed them that should sing unto Jehovah, and give praise in holy array, as they went out before the army, and say, Give thanks unto Jehovah; for his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the LORD and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said:“ Give thanks to the LORD, for his loyal love endures.”

When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to Yahweh, and give praise in holy array, as they go out before the army, and say,“ Give thanks to Yahweh; for his loving kindness endures forever.”

O give thanks unto the LORD, for[ he is] good: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

Give unto the LORD the glory[ due] unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for[ he is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers[ were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up[ their] voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD,[ saying], For[ he is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever: that[ then] the house was filled with a cloud,[ even] the house of the LORD;

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for[ he is] good: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because[ he is] good, for his mercy[ endureth] for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD[ is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:[ and] of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy[ endureth] for ever;

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD,[ saying], For[ he is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy[ endureth] for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet: for[ so was] the commandment of the LORD by his prophets.And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began[ also] with the trumpets, and with the instruments[ ordained] by David king of Israel.And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded:[ and] all[ this continued] until the burnt offering was finished.And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing,[ with] cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds,[ and] with every leader.And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If[ it seem] good unto you, and[ that it be] of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where,[ that are] left in all the land of Israel, and with them[ also] to the priests and Levites[ which are] in their cities[ and] suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:

O give thanks unto the LORD; for[ he is] good: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him that made great lights: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:The sun to rule by day: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.To him which smote great kings: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And slew famous kings: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:[ Even] an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

Where no counsel[ is], the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors[ there is] safety.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day,[ singing] with loud instruments unto the LORD.
