After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”

Jehoshaphat asked the people for advice. Then he appointed men to sing to the Lord. He wanted them to praise the Lord because of his glory and holiness. They marched out in front of the army. They said,“ Give thanks to the Lord. His faithful love continues forever.”

After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang:“ Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!”

Then he consulted with the people and appointed some to sing for the LORD and some to praise the splendor of his holiness. When they went out in front of the armed forces, they kept singing: Give thanks to the LORD, for his faithful love endures forever.

When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said,“ Give thanks to the Lord, for His faithfulness is everlasting.”

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:“ Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.”

He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the LORD and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said:“ Give thanks to the LORD, for his loyal love endures.”

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him! Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;

and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord,“ For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever,” the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,

Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments came forward with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the Lord, according to the directions of David king of Israel.And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord,“ For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord:“‘ Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!’ For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.

With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those chosen and expressly named to give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.

When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the ground on the pavement and worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying,“ For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

The priests stood at their posts; the Levites also, with the instruments for music to the Lord that King David had made for giving thanks to the Lord— for his steadfast love endures forever— whenever David offered praises by their ministry; opposite them the priests sounded trumpets, and all Israel stood.

Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!

And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, according to the commandment of David and of Gad the king’s seer and of Nathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the Lord through his prophets.The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.Then Hezekiah commanded that the burnt offering be offered on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song to the Lord began also, and the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments of David king of Israel.The whole assembly worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.When the offering was finished, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.And Hezekiah the king and the officials commanded the Levites to sing praises to the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed down and worshiped.

And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites in all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with gladness, with thanksgivings and with singing, with cymbals, harps, and lyres.

David consulted with the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, with every leader.And David said to all the assembly of Israel,“ If it seems good to you and from the Lord our God, let us send abroad to our brothers who remain in all the lands of Israel, as well as to the priests and Levites in the cities that have pasturelands, that they may be gathered to us.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who made the great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever;the sun to rule over the day, for his steadfast love endures forever;the moon and stars to rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, for his steadfast love endures forever;and brought Israel out from among them, for his steadfast love endures forever;with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who divided the Red Sea in two, for his steadfast love endures forever;and made Israel pass through the midst of it, for his steadfast love endures forever;but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who led his people through the wilderness, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who struck down great kings, for his steadfast love endures forever;and killed mighty kings, for his steadfast love endures forever;Sihon, king of the Amorites, for his steadfast love endures forever;and Og, king of Bashan, for his steadfast love endures forever;and gave their land as a heritage, for his steadfast love endures forever;a heritage to Israel his servant, for his steadfast love endures forever.It is he who remembered us in our low estate, for his steadfast love endures forever;and rescued us from our foes, for his steadfast love endures forever;he who gives food to all flesh, for his steadfast love endures forever.Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.

Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.

And the people of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with great gladness, and the Levites and the priests praised the Lord day by day, singing with all their might to the Lord.
