After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”

Jehoshaphat asked the people for advice. Then he appointed men to sing to the Lord. He wanted them to praise the Lord because of his glory and holiness. They marched out in front of the army. They said,“ Give thanks to the Lord. His faithful love continues forever.”

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say,“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang:“ Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!”

Then he consulted with the people and appointed some to sing for the LORD and some to praise the splendor of his holiness. When they went out in front of the armed forces, they kept singing: Give thanks to the LORD, for his faithful love endures forever.

When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said,“ Give thanks to the Lord, for His faithfulness is everlasting.”

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:“ Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.”

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed them that should sing unto Jehovah, and give praise in holy array, as they went out before the army, and say, Give thanks unto Jehovah; for his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

Then he consulted with the people and appointed some to sing for the Lord and some to praise the splendor of His holiness. When they went out in front of the armed forces, they kept singing: Give thanks to the Lord, for His faithful love endures forever.

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the LORD and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said:“ Give thanks to the LORD, for his loyal love endures.”

When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to Yahweh, and give praise in holy array, as they go out before the army, and say,“ Give thanks to Yahweh; for his loving kindness endures forever.”

你们要称谢耶和华，因为祂是美善的；祂的慈爱永远长存。

工人立耶和华殿的根基时，祭司身穿礼服拿着号角，利未人亚萨的子孙拿着钹各就各位，照以色列王大卫所定的规矩赞美耶和华。他们彼此唱和，赞美、称谢耶和华，说：“祂是美善的，因为祂向以色列人永施慈爱！”所有人都高声欢呼赞美耶和华，因为耶和华殿的根基已经立好。

但这些地方必传出欢乐声、新郎新娘的欢笑声和在耶和华殿中献感恩祭者的歌唱声，“‘要感谢万军之耶和华，因为耶和华是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存’。因为我必使被掳的人回到故土，重建家园。这是耶和华说的。”

与他们一同供职的有希幔、耶杜顿和其他人，他们被特别选出来称谢上帝，因为祂有永恒的慈爱。

全体以色列人看见有火降下，又看见耶和华的荣光停在殿上，便俯伏敬拜，称谢耶和华说：“耶和华是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存。”

祭司在自己的岗位上侍立，利未人奏着大卫王为颂赞耶和华而为他们制造的乐器，歌颂说：“祂的慈爱永远长存。”他们对面的祭司也吹响号角，全体以色列人都肃立。

你们当在圣洁的耶和华面前俯伏敬拜，大地要在祂面前战抖。

愿主——我们的上帝恩待我们，使我们所做的亨通，使我们所做的亨通。

王又分派利未人在耶和华的殿里敲钹、鼓瑟、弹琴，正如大卫王、王的先见迦得和先知拿单的指示，即耶和华借先知所吩咐的。利未人拿着大卫的乐器侍立在那里，祭司拿着号角侍立在那里。希西迦下令在坛上献燔祭。开始献燔祭时，伴随着号角声和以色列王大卫的乐器声，响起了颂赞耶和华的歌声。全体会众伴着歌声和号角声俯伏敬拜，直到献完燔祭。献完燔祭后，王和所有在场的人都俯伏敬拜。希西迦王与众官员又吩咐利未人用大卫和亚萨先见的诗词颂赞耶和华。他们欢喜地歌唱，并低头敬拜。

在耶路撒冷的城墙典礼之际，民众把各处的利未人请到耶路撒冷，来称颂、歌唱、敲钹、鼓瑟、弹琴，欢庆典礼。

大卫跟千夫长、百夫长等所有的首领商议，然后对以色列全体会众说：“如果你们赞成，而且这是我们上帝耶和华的旨意，我们就派人到以色列各地把其他同胞，包括住在城邑及草场的祭司和利未人召集来。

你们要称谢耶和华，因为祂是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存。你们要称谢万神之神，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。你们要称谢万主之主，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位独行奇事的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位用智慧创造诸天的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位在水上铺展大地的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位创造日月星辰的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂让太阳管理白昼，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂让月亮星辰管理黑夜，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位击杀埃及人长子的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂带领以色列人离开埃及，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂伸出臂膀施展大能，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位分开红海的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂引领以色列人走过红海，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂让法老和他的军兵葬身红海，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位带领其子民走过旷野的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。要称谢那位击杀强大君王的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂击杀了大能的君王，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂击杀了亚摩利王西宏，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂击杀了巴珊王噩，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂把他们的土地赐给祂的子民作产业，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂把他们的土地赐给祂的仆人以色列人作产业，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂眷顾处于卑贱境地的我们，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂拯救我们脱离仇敌，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂赐食物给众生，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。你们要称谢天上的上帝，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。

缺乏智谋，国必败亡；谋士众多，战无不胜。

在耶路撒冷的以色列人非常喜乐地守除酵节七天。利未人和祭司用响亮的乐器天天颂赞耶和华。
