萬民哪，你們都當聽這話！世上一切的居民，

有四千人作守門的，又有四千人用大衛所做的樂器頌讚耶和華。

神啊，你在古時，我們列祖的日子所行的事，我們親耳聽見了；我們的列祖也給我們述說過。

來啊，我們要向耶和華歌唱，向拯救我們的磐石歡呼！我們要來感謝他，用詩歌向他歡呼！

吹號的、歌唱的都一齊發聲，聲合為一，讚美感謝耶和華。吹號、敲鈸，用各種樂器，揚聲讚美耶和華說：耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！那時，耶和華的殿有雲充滿，

又有瑪西雅、示瑪雅、以利亞撒、烏西、約哈難、瑪基雅、以攔，和以謝奏樂。歌唱的就大聲歌唱，伊斯拉希雅管理他們。那日，眾人獻大祭而歡樂；因為神使他們大大歡樂，連婦女帶孩童也都歡樂，甚至耶路撒冷中的歡聲聽到遠處。

希幔、耶杜頓同着他們吹號、敲鈸，大發響聲，並用別的樂器隨着歌頌神。耶杜頓的子孫作守門的。

然而有許多祭司、利未人、族長，就是見過舊殿的老年人，現在親眼看見立這殿的根基，便大聲哭號，也有許多人大聲歡呼，甚至百姓不能分辨歡呼的聲音和哭號的聲音；因為眾人大聲呼喊，聲音聽到遠處。

你們當向神－我們的力量大聲歡呼，向雅各的神發聲歡樂！
