有四千人作守门的，又有四千人用大卫所做的乐器颂赞耶和华。

神啊，你在古时，我们列祖的日子所行的事，我们亲耳听见了；我们的列祖也给我们述说过。

来啊，我们要向耶和华歌唱，向拯救我们的磐石欢呼！我们要来感谢他，用诗歌向他欢呼！

吹号的、歌唱的都一齐发声，声合为一，赞美感谢耶和华。吹号、敲钹，用各种乐器，扬声赞美耶和华说：“耶和华本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！”那时，耶和华的殿有云充满，

大卫和众首领分派亚萨、希幔，并耶杜顿的子孙弹琴、鼓瑟、敲钹、唱歌。他们供职的人数记在下面：亚萨的儿子撒刻、约瑟、尼探雅、亚萨利拉都归亚萨指教，遵王的旨意唱歌。耶杜顿的儿子基大利、西利、耶筛亚、哈沙比雅、玛他提雅、示每共六人，都归他们父亲耶杜顿指教，弹琴，唱歌，称谢，颂赞耶和华。希幔的儿子布基雅、玛探雅、乌薛、细布业、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亚他、基大利提、罗幔提以谢、约施比加沙、玛罗提、何提、玛哈秀；这都是希幔的儿子，吹角颂赞。希幔奉神之命作王的先见。神赐给希幔十四个儿子，三个女儿，都归他们父亲指教，在耶和华的殿唱歌、敲钹、弹琴、鼓瑟，办神殿的事务。亚萨、耶杜顿、希幔都是王所命定的。他们和他们的弟兄学习颂赞耶和华；善于歌唱的共有二百八十八人。

又有玛西雅、示玛雅、以利亚撒、乌西、约哈难、玛基雅、以拦，和以谢奏乐。歌唱的就大声歌唱，伊斯拉希雅管理他们。那日，众人献大祭而欢乐；因为神使他们大大欢乐，连妇女带孩童也都欢乐，甚至耶路撒冷中的欢声听到远处。

希幔、耶杜顿同着他们吹号、敲钹，大发响声，并用别的乐器随着歌颂神。耶杜顿的子孙作守门的。

然而有许多祭司、利未人、族长，就是见过旧殿的老年人，现在亲眼看见立这殿的根基，便大声哭号，也有许多人大声欢呼，甚至百姓不能分辨欢呼的声音和哭号的声音；因为众人大声呼喊，声音听到远处。

你们当向神我们的力量大声欢呼，向雅各的神发声欢乐！
