他出来迎接亚撒，对他说：“亚撒和犹大、便雅悯众人哪，要听我说：你们若顺从耶和华，耶和华必与你们同在；你们若寻求他，就必寻见；你们若离弃他，他必离弃你们。

你不要害怕，因为我与你同在；不要惊惶，因为我是你的神。我必坚固你，我必帮助你；我必用我公义的右手扶持你。

凡我所吩咐你们的，都教训他们遵守，我就常与你们同在，直到世界的末了。”

你们要休息，要知道我是神！我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。万军之耶和华与我们同在；雅各的神是我们的避难所！

与他们同在的是肉臂，与我们同在的是耶和华我们的神，他必帮助我们，为我们争战。”百姓就靠犹大王希西家的话，安然无惧了。

但你们不可背叛耶和华，也不要怕那地的居民；因为他们是我们的食物，并且荫庇他们的已经离开他们。有耶和华与我们同在，不要怕他们！”

人仰望耶和华，静默等候他的救恩，这原是好的。

万军之耶和华与我们同在；雅各的神是我们的避难所！细拉

既是这样，还有什么说的呢？神若帮助我们，谁能敌挡我们呢？

列国的人民哪，任凭你们喧嚷，终必破坏；远方的众人哪，当侧耳而听！任凭你们束起腰来，终必破坏；你们束起腰来，终必破坏。任凭你们同谋，终归无有；任凭你们言定，终不成立；因为神与我们同在。

你们要求善，不要求恶，就必存活。这样，耶和华万军之神必照你们所说的与你们同在。

又使他们的车轮脱落，难以行走，以致埃及人说：“我们从以色列人面前逃跑吧！因耶和华为他们攻击我们了。”

主耶和华以色列的圣者曾如此说：“你们得救在乎归回安息；你们得力在乎平静安稳”；你们竟自不肯。

说：“必有童女怀孕生子；人要称他的名为以马内利。”（“以马内利”翻出来就是“神与我们同在”。）

愿主与你的灵同在！愿恩惠常与你们同在！

埃及的帮助是徒然无益的；所以我称她为“坐而不动的拉哈伯”。

众人方唱歌赞美的时候，耶和华就派伏兵击杀那来攻击犹大人的亚扪人、摩押人，和西珥山人，他们就被打败了。因为亚扪人和摩押人起来，击杀住西珥山的人，将他们灭尽；灭尽住西珥山的人之后，他们又彼此自相击杀。
