看哪，他們怎樣報復我們，要來驅逐我們出離你的地，就是你賜給我們為業之地。

今彼若何報我、乃來逐我、出爾所賜為業之地、

今彼以惡報我、欲行驅逐、出爾所錫之地。

今彼來以惡報我儕、欲逐我於主所賜我為業之地、

See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance.

See how they are paying us back. They are coming to drive us out. They want to take over the land you gave us as our share.

behold, they reward us by coming to drive us out of your possession, which you have given us to inherit.

Now see how they reward us! For they have come to throw us out of your land, which you gave us as an inheritance.

Look how they repay us by coming to drive us out of your possession that you gave us as an inheritance.

他們同謀奸詐要害你的百姓，彼此商議要害你所隱藏的人。他們說：來吧，我們將他們剪滅，使他們不再成國！使以色列的名不再被人記念！他們同心商議，彼此結盟，要抵擋你，就是住帳棚的以東人和以實瑪利人，摩押和夏甲人，迦巴勒、亞捫，和亞瑪力、非利士並泰爾的居民。亞述也與他們連合；他們作羅得子孫的幫手。（細拉）求你待他們，如待米甸，如在基順河待西西拉和耶賓一樣。他們在隱‧多珥滅亡，成了地上的糞土。求你叫他們的首領像俄立和西伊伯，叫他們的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。他們說：我們要得神的住處，作為自己的產業。

他們出城走了不遠，約瑟對家宰說：「起來，追那些人去，追上了就對他們說：『你們為甚麼以惡報善呢？

我若以惡報那與我交好的人－連那無故與我為敵的，我也救了他，

他們向我以惡報善，使我的靈魂孤苦。

以惡報善的，禍患必不離他的家。

耶和華－以色列的神在他百姓以色列面前趕出亞摩利人，你竟要得他們的地嗎？你的神基抹所賜你的地你不是得為業嗎？耶和華－我們的神在我們面前所趕出的人，我們就得他的地。

豈可以惡報善呢？他們竟挖坑要害我的性命！求你記念我怎樣站在你面前為他們代求，要使你的忿怒向他們轉消。
