现在请你派一个巧匠到我这里来，他要精于使用金、银、铜、铁和紫色朱红色蓝色线工作，并且懂得雕刻，好与我的父亲大卫在犹大和耶路撒冷预备的巧匠一同工作。

今求遣一巧匠、精於金銀銅鐵、及紫絳藍三色之工、並善雕刻者、與我父大衛於猶大及耶路撒冷、所備之巧匠同在、

昔我父大闢、於猶太耶路撒冷、曾備百工、請爾遣良工一、能製金銀銅鐵、能編赤絳紫三色之縷、又能鐫玉、與之同作。

今求王遣一巧匠於我、善製金銀銅鐵、能用紫絳藍三色縷組織、又善於雕刻者、可與我父大衛在猶大、在耶路撒冷、所備之巧匠同作、

“ Send me, therefore, a man skilled to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, and in purple, crimson and blue yarn, and experienced in the art of engraving, to work in Judah and Jerusalem with my skilled workers, whom my father David provided.

“ Send me a man skilled at working with gold, silver, bronze and iron. He must also be able to work with purple, blue and bright red yarn. He must be skilled in the art of carving. Send him to work in Judah and Jerusalem with my skilled workers. My father David provided them to help me.

So now send me a man skilled to work in gold, silver, bronze, and iron, and in purple, crimson, and blue fabrics, trained also in engraving, to be with the skilled workers who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.

“ So send me a master craftsman who can work with gold, silver, bronze, and iron, as well as with purple, scarlet, and blue cloth. He must be a skilled engraver who can work with the craftsmen of Judah and Jerusalem who were selected by my father, David.

Therefore, send me an artisan who is skilled in engraving to work with gold, silver, bronze, and iron, and with purple, crimson, and blue yarn. He will work with the artisans who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, appointed by my father David.

Now send me a skilled man to work in gold, silver, brass, iron, and in purple, crimson, and violet fabrics, one who knows how to make engravings, to work with the skilled workers whom I have in Judah and Jerusalem, whom my father David provided.

Therefore send me at once a man skillful to work in gold and silver, in bronze and iron, in purple and crimson and blue, who has skill to engrave with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.

Now therefore send me a man skilful to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that knoweth how to grave all manner of gravings, to be with the skilful men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

Therefore, send me a craftsman who is skilled in engraving to work with gold, silver, bronze, and iron, and with purple, crimson, and blue yarn. He will work with the craftsmen who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, appointed by my father David.

Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that[ are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

“ Now send me a man who is skilled in working with gold, silver, bronze, and iron, as well as purple, crimson, and violet colored fabrics, and who knows how to engrave. He will work with my skilled craftsmen here in Jerusalem and Judah, whom my father David provided.

“ Now therefore send me a man skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, and in purple, crimson, and blue, and who knows how to engrave engravings, to be with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.

我將屬神的靈充滿了他，使他有技能、有聰明、有知識、有各樣的巧工，能巧設圖案，用金銀銅去製作；又能刻寶石鑲東西，能刻木頭，用各樣巧工來作。

『現在我差遣一個有技巧的人，賦有聰明，我親信的師父戶蘭；他是但族女子中一個婦人的兒子；他父親是推羅人，他精於製作金、銀、銅、鐵、石、木、和紫紅色、藍紫色線、細麻、和大紅色線，又能作各樣的刻工，能巧設交給他作的各樣圖案，同你的巧匠和我主你父大衛的巧匠一起工作。

金銀銅鐵各樣工的巧匠、無法可數。起來作吧！願永恆主與你同在！』大衛又吩咐以色列眾首領幫助他兒子所羅門，說：

這也是出於萬軍之永恆主：他的計畫奇妙，他的謀略廣大。

外族人必修造你的城牆，他們的王必服事你；因為我震怒時雖曾擊打了你，如今我卻以我的恩悅憐憫你。

他是拿弗他利支派中一個寡婦的兒子；他父親是推羅人、做銅匠的；希蘭滿有技能、聰明、和知識，能作各樣銅業的巧工；他來到所羅門王那裏，作王一切的巧工。

因為他的上帝教導他，將對的方法指教他。
