He gave them these orders:“ You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the Lord.

Here are the orders Jehoshaphat gave them. He said,“ Have respect for the Lord. Serve him faithfully. Do it with all your heart.

And he charged them:“ Thus you shall do in the fear of the Lord, in faithfulness, and with your whole heart:

These were his instructions to them:“ You must always act in the fear of the Lord, with faithfulness and an undivided heart.

He commanded them, saying,“ In the fear of the LORD, with integrity, and wholeheartedly, you are to do the following:

Then he commanded them, saying,“ This is what you shall do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and wholeheartedly.

現在你們對永恆主要有畏懼的心；你們要謹慎辦事；因為永恆主我們的上帝無不公道；他不以貌取人，也不受賄賂。』

他也樂聞敬畏永恆主的香氣。他行審判、不憑眼見，他斷是非，不憑耳聞；他憑義氣為貧寒人申正義，以正直判斷國中的困苦人；他以口中的杖擊打強橫人，以嘴裏的氣殺死惡人。公義必做他腰間的圍帶，忠信必做他脅下的束巾。
