He told them,“ Consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the Lord, who is with you whenever you give a verdict.

He told the judges,“ Think carefully about what you do. After all, you aren’t judging for human beings. You are judging for the Lord. He’s with you every time you make a decision.

and said to the judges,“ Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment.

and he said to them,“ Always think carefully before pronouncing judgment. Remember that you do not judge to please people but to please the Lord. He will be with you when you render the verdict in each case.

Then he said to the judges,“ Consider what you are doing, for you do not judge for a man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the matter of judgment.

He told the judges,“ Be careful what you do, for you are not judging for men, but for the LORD, who will be with you when you make judicial decisions.

Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of anyone, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it.”

Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary. Be strong and do the work.”

“‘ Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

God presides in the great assembly; he renders judgment among the“ gods”:“ How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked?Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.“ The‘ gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.“ I said,‘ You are“ gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’

If you see the poor oppressed in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and over them both are others higher still.

But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

He replied:“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not follow them.

Then he addressed the Sanhedrin:“ Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men.

When the centurion heard this, he went to the commander and reported it.“ What are you going to do?” he asked.“ This man is a Roman citizen.”

Then he said to them,“ Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
