And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, but I hate him, for he never prophesies anything good regarding me, but always bad. He is Micaiah the son of Imlah.” But Jehoshaphat said,“ May the king not say so.”

以色列王回答约沙法说：“还有一个人，我们可以向他求问耶和华；只是我恨他，因为他对我说的预言，都是凶话，不是吉话。这人就是音拉的儿子米该雅。”约沙法说：“王不要这样说。”

以色列王回答約沙法說：“還有一個人，我們可以向他求問耶和華；只是我恨他，因為他對我說的預言，都是凶話，不是吉話。這人就是音拉的兒子米該雅。”約沙法說：“王不要這樣說。”

以色列王對約沙法說：『還有一個人、這人是音拉的兒子米該雅、我們可以託他去尋問永恆主；不過我恨他，因為他傳神言論到我、總不說吉祥話；總是說不吉祥的話。』約沙法說：『請王不要這樣說。』

以色列王曰、尚有一人、音拉子米該雅、可藉之詻諏耶和華、然我憾之、因其論我之預言、有凶而無吉、約沙法曰、王勿言是、

以色列王曰、尚有一人、音拉子、米該亞、可以之諮諏耶和華、然我嘗憾其人、因彼所預言有兇而無吉、約沙法曰、王毋言是。

以色列王對約沙法曰、尚有一人、音拉子米該雅、可藉以問主、然我憾其人、因其論我預言、無吉惟凶、約沙法曰、王勿如是言、

The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one prophet through whom we can inquire of the Lord, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me, but always bad. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.”“ The king should not say such a thing,” Jehoshaphat replied.

The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat. He said,“ There is still one prophet we can go to. We can ask the Lord for advice through him. But I hate him. He never prophesies anything good about me. He only prophesies bad things. His name is Micaiah. He’s the son of Imlah.”“ You shouldn’t say bad things about him,” Jehoshaphat replied.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, Micaiah the son of Imlah; but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil.” And Jehoshaphat said,“ Let not the king say so.”

The king of Israel replied to Jehoshaphat,“ There is one more man who could consult the Lord for us, but I hate him. He never prophesies anything but trouble for me! His name is Micaiah son of Imlah.” Jehoshaphat replied,“ That’s not the way a king should talk! Let’s hear what he has to say.”

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man who can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him because he never prophesies good about me, but only disaster. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.”“ The king shouldn’t say that,” Jehoshaphat replied.

So the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord; but I hate him, because he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla.” And Jehoshaphat said,“ Let not the king say such things!”

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Jehovah: but I hate him; for he never prophesieth good concerning me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man who can ask Yahweh, but I hate him because he never prophesies good about me, but only disaster. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.”“ The king shouldn’t say that,” Jehoshaphat replied.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat,[ There is] yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same[ is] Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man through whom we can seek the LORD’s will. But I despise him because he does not prophesy prosperity for me, but always disaster. His name is Micaiah son of Imlah. Jehoshaphat said,“ The king should not say such things!”

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Yahweh; but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla.” Jehoshaphat said,“ Don’t let the king say so.”

When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him,“ Is this you, the cause of disaster to Israel?”

Who say to the seers,“ You must not see visions”; And to the prophets,“ You must not prophesy the truth to us. Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions.

Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.

Is it being said, house of Jacob:‘ Is the Spirit of the Lord impatient? Are these His works?’ Do My words not do good For the one walking rightly?

They hate him who rebukes in the gate, And they despise him who speaks with integrity.

Then Ahab said to Elijah,“ Have you found me, enemy of mine?” And he answered,“ I have found you, because you have given yourself over to do evil in the sight of the Lord.

For John had been saying to Herod,“ It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.”And Herodias held a grudge against him and wanted to put him to death, and could not do so;

And he said,“ I have been very zealous for the Lord, the God of armies; for the sons of Israel have abandoned Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they have sought to take my life.”

“ Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me.When I say to the wicked,‘ You will certainly die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way so that he may live, that wicked person shall die for wrongdoing, but his blood I will require from your hand.However if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die for wrongdoing, but you have saved yourself.

Then they said,“ Come and let’s devise plans against Jeremiah. Certainly the Law is not going to be lost by the priest, nor advice by the wise, nor the divine word by the prophet! Come, and let’s strike at him with our tongue, and let’s pay no attention to any of his words.”

When Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is your intention peace, Jehu?” And he answered,“ What‘ peace,’ so long as your mother Jezebel’s acts of prostitution and witchcraft are so many?”

So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?

Rescue me from the mud and do not let me sink; May I be rescued from those who hate me, and from the depths of water.

Then the officials said to the king,“ Please have this man put to death, since he is discouraging the men of war who are left in this city and all the people, by speaking words like these to them; for this man is not seeking the well being of this people, but rather their harm.”

If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.

And the prophet said to him,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Since you have let go from your hand the man I had designated for destruction, your life shall be forfeited in place of his life, and your people in place of his people.’ ”So the king of Israel went to his house sullen and furious, and came to Samaria.

Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the pressure of the wicked; For they bring down trouble upon me And in anger they hold a grudge against me.

Evil will bring death to the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will suffer for their guilt.

People of bloodshed hate the blameless person, But the upright are concerned for his life.

for when Jezebel killed the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave, and provided them with bread and water.)

But Micaiah said,“ As the Lord lives, whatever my God says, I will speak it.”

The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify about it, that its deeds are evil.

Like an earring of gold and a jewelry piece of fine gold, Is a wise person who offers rebukes to a listening ear.

“ If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.

Immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded him to bring back his head. And he went and beheaded him in the prison,

Do not rebuke a scoffer, or he will hate you; Rebuke a wise person and he will love you.

Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all people.For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.
