When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought,“ This is the king of Israel.” So they turned to attack him, but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him. God drew them away from him,

猶大人轉過來，看哪，前後都有戰事，就呼求耶和華，祭司也吹號。

神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時的幫助。

我愛耶和華，因為他聽了我的聲音和我的懇求。他既向我側耳，我一生要求告他。

若不是耶和華幫助我，我早就住在寂靜之中了。

你用力推我，要叫我跌倒，但耶和華幫助了我。

人所行的若蒙耶和華喜悅，耶和華也使仇敵與他和好。

耶和華的使者在敬畏他的人四圍安營，要搭救他們。

王的心在耶和華手中像河水，他能使它隨意流轉。

自己心裏也斷定是必死無疑，這是要使我們不依靠自己，只依靠使死人復活的神。他曾救我們脫離那極大的死亡，他要繼續救我們，而且我們指望他將來還要救我們。

唉，主啊，求你側耳聽你僕人的祈禱，聽喜愛敬畏你名眾僕人的祈禱，使你僕人今日亨通，在這人面前蒙恩。」我是王的酒政。

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的神是我們的避難所！

以斯拉說：「耶和華－我們列祖的神是應當稱頌的！因他使王起這心願，使耶路撒冷耶和華的殿得榮耀，

波斯王居魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米的口所說的話，就激發波斯王居魯士的心，使他下詔書通告全國，說：
