The king of Israel then ordered,“ Take Micaiah and send him back to Amon the ruler of the city and to Joash the king’s son,

Then the king of Israel gave an order. He said,“ Take Micaiah away. Send him back to Amon. Amon is the ruler of the city of Samaria. And send Micaiah back to Joash. Joash is a member of the royal court.

And the king of Israel said,“ Seize Micaiah and take him back to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son,

“ Arrest him!” the king of Israel ordered.“ Take him back to Amon, the governor of the city, and to my son Joash.

Then the king of Israel ordered,“ Take Micaiah and return him to Amon, the governor of the city, and to Joash, the king’s son,

于是以色列王召了一个太监来，说：“快去把音拉的儿子米该雅召来。”

保罗讲到公义、自制和将来的审判的时候，腓力斯就害怕起来，说：“你先走吧，等我有空的时候再叫你来。”同时他也希望保罗送钱给他，所以又多次传见他，和他谈话。过了两年，波求．非斯都接了腓力斯的任；腓力斯为要讨好犹太人，就把保罗留在监里。

众领袖都恼怒耶利米，就打他，并且把他关进监里，就是在书记约拿单的房子里，因为他们已把这房子改作监狱。耶利米进了地牢里的一个囚房，在那里监禁了多日。后来，西底家王派人去把他带出来；王在自己的宫中私下问他，说：“从耶和华那里有话来吗？”耶利米回答：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王的手中。”耶利米再对西底家王说：“我有什么得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这人民，你竟然把我送进监狱里呢？你们的先知曾向你们预言说：‘巴比伦王必不会来攻击你们和这地。’他们现今在哪里呢？我主我王啊！现在求你垂听，求你容我向你恳求！不要把我送回书记约拿单的房子去，免得我死在那里。”于是西底家王下令，把耶利米拘留在卫兵的院子里；他们每天从饼铺街拿一个饼给他，直到城里的饼都吃光了。耶利米就这样留在卫兵的院子里。

他们就拿住耶利米，把他丢在王子玛基雅的井里，那井是在卫兵的院子里的；他们用绳子把耶利米缒下去。井里没有水，只有淤泥；耶利米就陷在淤泥中。宫中的臣宰古实人以伯．米勒，在王宫里听见他们把耶利米关在井里的消息（那时，王正在便雅悯门坐着），

约西亚在位第十八年，洁净犹大地和圣殿以后，就差派亚萨利雅的儿子沙番、市长玛西雅和约哈斯的儿子史官约亚，去修筑耶和华他的神的殿。
