Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah went up and slapped Micaiah in the face.“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go when he went from me to speak to you?” he asked.

Then Zedekiah, the son of Kenaanah, went up and slapped Micaiah in the face. Zedekiah asked Micaiah,“ Do you think the spirit sent by the Lord left me? Do you think that spirit went to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said,“ Which way did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah walked up to Micaiah and slapped him across the face.“ Since when did the Spirit of the Lord leave me to speak to you?” he demanded.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah on the cheek, and demanded,“ Which way did the spirit from the LORD leave me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah approached and struck Micaiah on the cheek; and he said,“ How did the Spirit of the Lord pass from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of Jehovah from me to speak unto thee?

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up, hit Micaiah in the face, and demanded,“ Which way did the spirit from the Lord leave me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

Zedekiah son of Kenaanah approached, hit Micaiah on the jaw, and said,“ Which way did the LORD’s spirit go when he went from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did Yahweh’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”

就殴打耶利米先知，把他枷锁在耶和华殿里，朝向便雅悯的上门内。

于是有些人就向他吐唾沫，蒙住他的脸。用拳头打他，对他说：“你说预言吧！”差役把他拉去，用手掌打他。

耶和华已经立了你西番雅为祭司，代替耶何耶大，作耶和华殿中的总管，你就应把所有妄自说预言的人，都带上脚镣枷锁。现在，亚拿突人耶利米向你们说预言，你为什么不斥责他呢？

现在，耶和华已经把说谎的灵放在你这些先知的口中，耶和华已经命定灾祸临到你。”基拿拿的儿子西底家近前来，打米该雅的脸颊说：“耶和华的灵怎样离开了我，去与你说话呢？”米该雅说：“你进密室躲藏的那一天，就必看见了。”

于是他们吐唾沫在他的脸上，用拳头打他，也有人用掌掴他，说：“基督啊，向我们说预言吧！是谁打你呢？”

耶稣说了这些话，站在旁边的一个差役，就打他一巴掌，说：“你竟敢这样回答大祭司吗？”耶稣对他说：“如果我讲错了，你可以指证错在哪里；如果我讲对了，你为什么打我呢？”

主耶和华开启了我的耳朵，我并没有违抗，也没有后退。我把我的背给打我的人打，把我的腮颊给拔我胡须的人拔；我并没有掩面躲避人的羞辱和人的唾液。

有些和耶稣在一起的法利赛人听了这话，就说：“难道我们也是瞎眼的吗？”耶稣对他们说：“如果你们是瞎眼的，就没有罪了；但现在你们说‘我们能看见’，所以你们还是有罪的。”

基拿拿的儿子西底家为自己做了些铁角，说：“耶和华这样说：‘你要用这些铁角抵触亚兰人，直到把他们完全消灭。’”

女子啊！现在你要聚集成队；仇敌正在围攻我们；他们用杖击打以色列执政者的脸颊。（本节在《马索拉文本》为4:14）

他要让人打他的脸颊，要饱受凌辱。

大祭司亚拿尼亚就吩咐站在他旁边的人打保罗的嘴巴。保罗对他说：“你这粉饰的墙啊，神要击打你！你坐堂要按着律法审问我，现在你竟然违背律法吩咐人打我吗？”
