A few years later he went to Samaria to visit Ahab, who prepared a great banquet for him and his officials. They butchered great numbers of sheep, goats, and cattle for the feast. Then Ahab enticed Jehoshaphat to join forces with him to recover Ramoth gilead.

Then after some years, he went down to visit Ahab in Samaria. Ahab slaughtered many sheep, goats, and cattle for him and for the people who were with him, and he persuaded him to attack Ramoth-gilead,

And after[ certain] years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that[ he had] with him, and persuaded him to go up[ with him] to Ramothgilead.

and after several years went down to visit Ahab in Samaria. Ahab slaughtered many sheep and cattle to honor Jehoshaphat and those who came with him. He persuaded him to join in an attack against Ramoth Gilead.

After some years, he went down to Ahab to Samaria. Ahab killed sheep and cattle for him in abundance, and for the people who were with him, and moved him to go up with him to Ramoth Gilead.

越至三年、猶大王、約沙法至以色列王所。以色列王謂其臣曰、基列之喇末、豈非屬我、爾志何怠、不圖進取、奪於亞蘭王之手乎。問約沙法曰、爾欲與我偕往、至基列之喇末、一戰乎。曰、可、爾我無異視、我民如爾民、我馬如爾馬。又曰、今當諮諏於耶和華。以色列王乃集先知、約四百人、告之曰、我欲往基列之喇末、一戰、行止若何。曰、往哉、耶和華將使彼敗於王手。約沙法曰、外此尚有耶和華之先知、以備諮諏否。以色列王曰、尚有一人、音拉子米該亞、可以之諮諏耶和華。然我嘗憾其人、因彼所預言、有凶而無吉。約沙法曰、王毋言是。以色列王命臣僕曰、速召音拉子米該亞至此。以色列王、與猶大王、服朝衣、居王位、在撒馬利亞邑門之場、眾先知預言於前。基拿拿子西底家、作鐵角數枝、曰、耶和華云爾可以此角、觸亞蘭軍、盡滅而止。眾先知預言曰、可往基列之喇末而獲勝、蓋耶和華將以之敗於王手。奉遣之使告米該亞曰、諸先知眾口一辭、以休徵進告於王、爾亦當言與彼無異。米該亞曰、我指耶和華以誓、必循耶和華命而言。既至王前、王曰、米該亞歟、我欲攻基列之喇末、行止若何。曰、往可獲勝、蓋耶和華必使彼敗於王手。王曰、我豈不屢使爾、奉耶和華命、當以真實告我乎。曰、我觀以色列族眾、散布山谷、猶羊無牧、耶和華曰、此無其主、當各安歸。以色列王語約沙法曰、我豈不云、彼所預言、有凶無吉。米該亞曰、請聽耶和華之命、我觀耶和華坐於其位、萬天使侍左右。耶和華曰、誰能誘亞哈、使往基列之喇末、殞沒其命。眾天使所陳之詞不一。有神越班而出、侍耶和華前曰、我將誘之。曰誘之若何。曰、我將感其先知、胥動以浮言。曰、往哉、行此、爾必誘之、以成爾志。今有神感爾之先知、使之浮言、耶和華聽之。然耶和華有言、必降災於王。基拿拿子西底家前批其頰曰、耶和華之神離我以指示爾、由於何途、米該亞曰、後日爾入室自匿、則可知也。以色列王曰、解米該亞於邑宰亞門、及王子約轄所、告之曰、王命拘幽此人、供餅給水、使嘗艱苦、迨我安歸。米該亞曰、如爾安歸、則我未奉耶和華之命、又曰、斯民之眾、宜共聽聞、以色列王、與猶大王、往基列之喇末、以色列王告約沙法曰、我將微服入陳、惟爾衣王服。以色列王遂改服色、入陳戰鬥。亞蘭王命車騎之長、三十二人、曰、大小軍旅、毋庸與戰、惟攻以色列王而已。車騎之長、見約沙法、則曰、彼以色列王也、遂與之戰。約沙法大聲而呼。車騎之長、知非以色列王、不追襲。有人挽弓以射、偶中以色列王、在甲縫之處、王告御車者曰、我傷矣、自陳旋歸。戰事孔亟、軍士扶王於車中、攻擊亞蘭之眾、創劇血流、溢於車中、迨夕王死。

今萬有之主耶和華、頒厥詔命、使爾號哭、薙髮衣麻、惟爾欣喜歡忭、宰牛殺羊、食肉飲酒、曰、寧圖飲食、明日死至矣。

一為野間之庇悉、屬流便平原、一為基列之喇未屬伽得族。一為巴山之坷蘭、屬馬拿西族。○

迨挪亞入方舟之日、洪水至而湮眾、人子之日亦然、如羅得時、其人飲食貿易、樹蓺搆造、迨羅得出所多馬之日、天雨火硫而滅眾、

斯時我不在耶路撒冷、厥後巴比倫王亞達泄西三十二年、入覲我王、越數日王詔、

又簡約但外耶利哥東、流便平原所屬、在野之庇悉。伽得支派所屬基列之喇末。馬拿西支派所屬巴山之坷蘭。

先見者哈拿尼、其子耶戶、出迓之、告曰、不義者爾反助之、憾耶和華者、爾反愛之、獨何與。耶和華震怒以此。

其別子徵基列之喇末、及馬拿西子睚耳眾邑、亞咯地之巴山境、有墻垣銅楗之大邑六十。

日久無雨、溪水盡涸。

先知以利沙呼先知眾徒之一、曰、爾當束帶、取膏一盒、往基列之喇末、

亞多尼雅在隱羅結、於鎖希列石上、宰牛羊肥畜、以宴眾兄弟、王之子及王之臣、猶大族眾。
