Micaiah replied,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains like sheep that have no shepherd. Then the LORD said,‘ They have no master. They should go home in peace.’”

Then Micaiah answered,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd, and the Lord said,‘ These people have no master. Let each one go home in peace.’”

Then Micaiah answered,“ I saw all the Israelites scattered on the hills. They were like sheep that didn’t have a shepherd. The Lord said,‘ These people do not have a master. Let each of them go home in peace.’ ”

And he said,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the Lord said,‘ These have no master; let each return to his home in peace.’”

Then Micaiah told him,“ In a vision I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, like sheep without a shepherd. And the Lord said,‘ Their master has been killed. Send them home in peace.’”

So Micaiah said: I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd. And the LORD said,“ They have no master; let each return home in peace.”

So he said,“ I saw all Israel Scattered on the mountains, Like sheep that have no shepherd. And the Lord said,‘ These people have no master. Each of them is to return to his house in peace.’ ”

Then he said,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the Lord said,‘ These have no master. Let each return to his house in peace.’”

And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and Jehovah said, These have no master; let them return every man to his house in peace.

So Micaiah said: I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd. And the Lord said,“ They have no master; let each return home in peace.”

Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return[ therefore] every man to his house in peace.

He said,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. Yahweh said,‘ These have no master. Let them each return to his house in peace.’”

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were bewildered and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

They were scattered because they had no shepherd, and they became food for every wild beast.My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. My sheep were scattered over the entire face of the earth with no one looking or searching for them.

As Jesus came ashore he saw the large crowd and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he taught them many things.

Micaiah said,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains like sheep that have no shepherd. Then the LORD said,‘ They have no master. They should go home in peace.’”

who will go out before them, and who will come in before them, and who will lead them out, and who will bring them in, so that the community of the LORD may not be like sheep that have no shepherd.”

As surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, my sheep have become prey and have become food for all the wild beasts. There was no shepherd, and my shepherds did not search for my flock, but fed themselves and did not feed my sheep,

Now be courageous and prove to be valiant warriors, for your lord Saul is dead. The people of Judah have anointed me as king over them.”

Jesus said to him,“ You have said it yourself. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

In the past, when Saul was our king, you were the real leader in Israel. The LORD said to you,‘ You will shepherd my people Israel; you will rule over Israel.’”

Now an archer shot an arrow at random, and it struck the king of Israel between the plates of his armor. The king ordered his charioteer,“ Turn around and take me from the battle line, because I’m wounded.”While the battle raged throughout the day, the king stood propped up in his chariot opposite the Syrians. He died in the evening; the blood from the wound ran down into the bottom of the chariot.As the sun was setting, a cry went through the camp,“ Each one should return to his city and to his homeland.”

The LORD says,“ The leaders of my people are sure to be judged. They were supposed to watch over my people like shepherds watch over their sheep. But they are causing my people to be destroyed and scattered.So the LORD God of Israel has this to say about the leaders who are ruling over his people:“ You have caused my people to be dispersed and driven into exile. You have not taken care of them. So I will punish you for the evil that you have done. I, the LORD, affirm it!

For the household gods have spoken wickedness, the soothsayers have seen a lie, and as for the dreamers, they have disclosed emptiness and give comfort in vain. Therefore the people set out like sheep and become scattered because they have no shepherd.
