Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns, and he declared,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.’”

Zedekiah was the son of Kenaanah. Zedekiah had made horns out of iron. They looked like animal horns. He announced,“ The Lord says,‘ With these horns you will drive back the men of Aram until they are destroyed.’ ”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said,“ Thus says the Lord,‘ With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

One of them, Zedekiah son of Kenaanah, made some iron horns and proclaimed,“ This is what the Lord says: With these horns you will gore the Arameans to death!”

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the LORD says: You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made horns of iron for himself and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed!’ ”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made horns of iron for himself; and he said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ With these you shall gore the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron and said, Thus saith Jehovah, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until they be consumed.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.’”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed.

我舉目觀看，忽見有四個角。我就問那跟我說話的天使說：『這些是甚麼？』他回答說：『這些就是那使猶大以色列和耶路撒冷四散的角。』永恆主又指着四個匠人給我看。我說：『這些人來作甚麼？』他告訴我說：『那些使猶大四散的角，使人不敢抬頭；但這些匠人來、是使列國驚惶，是要打下列國的角，就是那曾舉起角來牴觸猶大地、使它四散的。』

你看，永恆主發神諭說，那些神言人拿口舌發神諭說，是永恆主發神諭說的，我總跟他們作對。

他們不斷地對藐視永恆主之話的人說：「你們必平安無事」；又對所有隨着自己頑強之心意而行的人說：「必沒有災禍會臨到你們。」』

那些神言人所說的、我都聽見了，他們冒我名傳虛假為神言說：「我作了夢了！我作了夢了！」

萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝論哥賴雅的兒子亞哈和瑪西雅的兒子西底家是這麼說的：「他們是冒我名以虛假傳神言的；看吧，我必將他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手中，他必在你們眼前擊殺他們。

於是神言人哈拿尼雅將神言人耶利米脖子上的軛取下來，給折斷了。哈拿尼雅又當着眾民面前說：『永恆主這麼說：兩年以內、我也必這樣從列國人的脖子上折斷巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的軛。』但神言人耶利米卻逕自走他的路而去。神言人哈拿尼雅把神言人耶利米脖子上的軛折斷了以後，有永恆主的話傳與耶利米說：『你去告訴哈拿尼雅說：「永恆主這麼說：你折斷了木的軛，我卻要作鐵的軛來代替它。因為萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：我已將鐵的軛加在這些國的脖子上，使他們服事巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，他們總要服事他，連田野間的走獸、我也給了他。」』

你們豈不是見了虛謊的異象？豈不是說了謊詐的占卜？因為你們說：「這是永恆主發神諭說的」，其實我並沒有說呀。』

從前雅尼和佯庇用甚麼方法反對摩西，這些人也這樣反對真理；他們是心思壞透了的人，在信仰的事上全不中用。

『我沒有差遣那些神言人，他們竟自奔跑；我沒有對他們說話，他們竟自傳神言。

永恆主對我這麼說：『你要為自己作繩索和軛，掛在自己的脖子上。
