Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns, and he declared,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.’”

Zedekiah was the son of Kenaanah. Zedekiah had made horns out of iron. They looked like animal horns. He announced,“ The Lord says,‘ With these horns you will drive back the men of Aram until they are destroyed.’ ”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said,“ Thus says the Lord,‘ With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

One of them, Zedekiah son of Kenaanah, made some iron horns and proclaimed,“ This is what the Lord says: With these horns you will gore the Arameans to death!”

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the LORD says: You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made horns of iron for himself and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed!’ ”

Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made horns of iron for himself; and he said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ With these you shall gore the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron and said, Thus saith Jehovah, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until they be consumed.

Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah made iron horns and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You will gore the Arameans with these until they are finished off.’”

這地的先知用灰泥給他們粉刷牆壁，為他們見虛假的異象，行騙人的占卜，說：‘主耶和華這樣說’，其實當時耶和華並沒有說話。

“萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘我已經折斷了巴比倫王的軛。在兩年之內，我必把耶和華殿中的一切器皿，就是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒從這地方掠到巴比倫去的，都帶回這地方。

我又舉目觀看，看見有四個角。於是我問那與我說話的天使：“這些是甚麼？”他對我說：“這些就是把猶大、以色列和耶路撒冷趕散的角。”耶和華又使我看見四個匠人。於是我說：“這些人來作甚麼？”那天使回答：“他們就是把猶大趕散的角，以致沒有一人可以抬起頭來；但這些匠人要來驚嚇列國，打掉他們的角；這些列國就是曾經舉起他們的角攻擊猶大地，把猶大地的人趕散的。”（本章第18~21節在《馬索拉文本》為2:1~4）

“看哪！那些先知用自己的舌頭說：‘這是耶和華的宣告’，我要對付他們。”這是耶和華的宣告。

他們不斷對那些藐視我的人說：‘耶和華說：你們必平安無事！’又對所有隨從自己頑梗的心行事的人說：‘災禍必不臨到你們！’”

“那些先知所說的話我都聽見了，他們冒我的名說虛假的預言：‘我作了夢！我作了夢！’

“萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘論到冒我的名向你們說虛假預言的哥賴雅的兒子亞哈和瑪西雅的兒子西底家，我要把他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他要在你們眼前擊殺他們。

於是哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知頸項上的軛取下來，折斷了。哈拿尼雅又當著眾民面前說：“耶和華這樣說：‘兩年之內，我必這樣從列國的頸項上，折斷巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的軛。’”於是耶利米先知就走了。哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知頸項上的軛折斷了以後，耶和華的話就臨到耶利米，說：“你去告訴哈拿尼雅說：‘耶和華這樣說：你折斷了木軛，卻要換來鐵軛。因為萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：我要把鐵軛套在這些國家的頸項上，使他們服事巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒；他們要服事他，連田野的走獸，我也交給他了。’”

你們不是見了虛假的異象，不是說了騙人的占卜嗎？你們還說：‘這是耶和華的宣告。’其實我並沒有說過。”

從前閻儡和閻悖怎樣反對摩西，這些人也怎樣反對真理。他們的心思敗壞，信仰也經不起考驗。

“我沒有差派這些先知，但他們自己到處跑；我沒有對他們說話，他們竟擅自說預言。

“耶和華對我這樣說：‘你要用繩套和木頭做軛，套在自己的頸上。
