然而有些卑劣之徒说：“这人怎么能拯救我们呢？”他们就轻视他，也没有给他带礼物，扫罗却保持沉默。

然而，那赐一切恩典的神，就是在基督耶稣里召唤你们进入他永恒荣耀的那一位，在你们暂时受苦之后，将亲自使你们完备、坚固、刚强、根基稳固。

所以你们应当先寻求神的国和神的义，这一切都将加给你们了。

塔尔施和众海岛的君王们将带来贡物，示巴和西拔的君王们将献上礼物。

如果你的子孙遵守我的约，以及我所教导他们的法度，他们的子孙也必坐在你的宝座上，直到永远。”

他就昌大起来，日渐强大，变得非常昌盛。他拥有羊群、牛群和许多仆婢，非利士人就嫉妒他。

你们当向耶和华你们的神许愿，并要还愿；所有在他四围的人，都要把礼物带给当受敬畏的那一位！

那时亚伯兰拥有极多的牲畜和金银。

因你在耶路撒冷的圣殿，君王们将给你带来礼物。
