My heart goes out to the commanders of Israel, The volunteers among the people; Bless the Lord!

Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord wholeheartedly, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

“ For the leaders leading in Israel, For the people volunteering, Bless the Lord!

“ But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.

For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave voluntarily,begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.

For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.

Your people will volunteer freely on the day of Your power; In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.
