示撒帶着戰車一千二百輛、駿馬六萬，跟那些從埃及和他同來的無數兵眾：就是路比人、蘇基人和古實人。

就在那時先見哈拿尼就來見猶大王亞撒，對他說：『因你依靠着亞蘭王，沒有依靠永恆主你的上帝、故此亞蘭王的軍隊才逃脫了你的手。

那時以色列人被制伏，猶大人強勝，是因為他們依靠着永恆主他們列祖的上帝。

永恆主給受欺壓的人做高壘，做患難時候的高壘。認識你名的人必倚靠你；因為、永恆主啊、你沒有撇棄尋求你的人。
