他的臣仆把他从战车上扶下来，放在他的第二辆战车上，把他送回耶路撒冷去，他跟着就死了，埋葬在他列祖的坟墓里。犹大和耶路撒冷的众人都为约西亚哀悼。

你在这里有什么权利呢？你在这里有什么人，竟在这里为你自己凿坟墓，就是在高处为自己凿坟墓，在磐石中为自己凿出安身之所呢？

几只死苍蝇能使做香料者的膏油发霉变臭，一点点愚昧比智慧和荣誉的影响更大。

你要把这些材料制成圣膏油，就是照着香膏配制师的方法配制成的香膏，是要作为圣膏油的。你要用这膏油抹会幕和法柜，桌子和桌子的所有器具，灯台和灯台的器具，以及香坛，燔祭坛和坛上的所有器具，盆和盆座；你要使它们成圣，使它们成为至圣；凡是触着它们的，都要成圣。你也要膏抹亚伦和他的儿子，好使他们成圣，作我的祭司。你要告诉以色列人说：‘你们世世代代要把这油归我为圣膏油。不可倒在常人的身上，也不可照着这配制的分量制相似的膏油；这膏油是圣的，你们也要以它为圣。无论谁配制相似的膏油，或把这膏油抹在外人的身上，这人就一定要从他的族人中被剪除。’”耶和华对摩西说：“你要取芬芳的香料，就是苏合香、香锭、白松香；这芬芳的香料和纯净的乳香，各样都要分量相等。你要照着香膏配制师的方法，用这些加上盐调和制成香，是清净圣洁的。你要取一部分香，把它研成碎末，放在会幕里法柜前，就是我要与你相会的地方。你们要以这香为至圣。你所制的香，你们不可按着它的分量为自己配制；你要以这香为圣归给耶和华。
