Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.And they shall teach my people[ the difference] between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin[ was] dead.For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say,[ Is] not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
